The fundamental fact is this: in order for us to be able to move quickly we have to have some advance notice that something is going to happen and in this case we didnt have that. So, in order to be able to respond 'quickly' to an enemy attack, they have to holler "ready or not, here we come" first? The incompetence rampant in the Obama administration, from the top down, defies description.

Pinhead Penetta. What an idiot.

we have to have some advance notice that something is going to happen and in this case we didnt have that. This idiotic statement clearly disqualifies Paneta from having anything to do with the military - especially the position of SecDef. Shameful.

Sorry to say this but our Government (many branches) have been and are lying to the public about Benghazi! So this is what we have come to...
Probably has happened before but was not so obvious as this and never uncovered. The worst is that most of America is so stupid that they will believe anything coming from our grand “leaders”. Go get’em “Kim-so-Obama”.

So fortunate for Pinhedda that Al Queda always pulls its punches.

Brilliant!!
If only I had advance notice of pending major stock market declines, I could keep from losing lots of money!
Or, if only I had advance notice of a pending fatal accident, I could save myself!
The list is endless when you live in la-la land as libtards do.

What did he think was happening when they blew up one of the walls of the mission in June? Why did the British move out? What constitutes advance notice?
Maybe the president could have authorized some air power.

The Condoleezza Rice Defense
... and that of so many failures in charge, throughout history. There has to be some “medal” that is awarded every quarter at each military academy, to the cadet or midshipman who utters in class, “If I’d only known the time and the place.”
That award, should be henceforth called Panetta’s Fig Leaf Cluster.
