A week before one of the biggest natural disasters to ever hit the Northeast dissipated the New Jersey shoreline, state officials awarded Radiant RFID a five-year emergency management solution contract to assist with evacuation and emergency tracking during catastrophic events.
Texas-based Radiant, which also has contracts with Texas, North Carolina and the city of Boston, will provide the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (OHSP) with an RFID-based evacuation solution that tracks evacuees, pets, emergency transport vehicles, and commodities deployed at state shelters in preparation for and in the event of a hurricane, natural disaster or other incident to assist in reunification of families. Its believed that the system was not set up in time to be used during recovery efforts for Hurricane Sandy.
In addition, Radiant will manage hardware components, deployment processes and training as well as all maintenance and management functions in support of the State of New Jersey.
Utilizing the latest in passive RFID technology, Radiant claims that its emergency management solution is the only RFID system designed to assist emergency management teams with large-scale evacuations by making the continuous movement of people, pets and assets easy to track without repeatedly stopping people to take their name or scan a bar code.
The seamless tracking helps eliminate lines, reduce redundancy and keep families together in times of emergency.
For shelter managers, the Radiant RFID solution can help with the number and type of evacuees to their location; for operations center management, our solution can aid in the overall evacuation status. When transported, relocated or upon entering a shelter their location is passively updated and an online or printed manifest is provided to the shelter host as well as central Emergency Management.
Along with the 8.8 million residents of New Jersey, Radiant RFIDs solutions with Texas, South Carolina and Boston cover approximately 18 percent of the U.S. population.
Step by step, the beast approaches.
“Mark of the beast, Biblical sorta stuff here, folks.”
No not really. Just using a system to manage disaster operations that is already used by retail and wholesale business to track stock, personnel and equipment. One of the big problems in a disaster is having real time data as to where people and equipment are. That information can save lives.
When they start implanting RFID chips in people’s heads then I’d worry. Until then, this is just smart use of existing technology to solve human and asset logistics problems.
That's nice and just what excuse do you think the anti-christ will use to implement his mark of the beast system.'step right up folks, take your mark so we can all swim together in the lake of fire'...or..."...this is just smart use of existing technology to solve human and asset logistics problems"?
ruh roh.... things get worse and worse
Somehow I don’t like the smell of this thing. I’ll live in the woods in my lean-to, thankyouverymuch. Eating berries and raw oats if need be.
That *is* the mark of the beast. Look how many able-bodied but lazy/entitled people hold their hands out for government goodies. They are happy to receive stolen cash and merchandize. Both buyers and sellers are dependent upon the magic money spent using EBT cards, so...
People will not care if they are tracked if they can loot with impunity. You know how this stuff goes. It starts with something legit, like providing emergency services: housing/food/clothing... healthcare...
Thanks for the ping, my friend.
I think I’ll report you to the mods anyway. ;-P
I assume you have a Social Security number correct ???
If so, you already have something that allows just about every important aspect of your life to be tracked and controlled.
I know this isn't 'the' mark yet but these things are no doubt leading up to it.I'm not in any way worried by this I just think it's more than a little interesting to see mankind slowly but surely outsmarting itself yet again.Like I mentioned before,a smart use of technology will be a good reason to implant these things in everybody, eventually by force. It's coming as sure as God made little green apples.
” Yes I do and your right my life is already under ...”
What about ‘his right’ and ‘life’ again?
I’m confused ... maybe you meant “ Yes I do and YOU ARE right ...”
It makes more sense to write it out rather than make an attempt at using a botched contraction maybe ...
