Now that we have the background why General Pet resigned he isn't working and has plenty of free time to answer more important questions? I doubt his wife is all that interested in hearing his excuses about his extracurricular activities that got the FBI involved in her world.

That agent, who has not been identified, helped get a preliminary inquiry started. I know more than a few FBI agents. Even known some SAIC's.
My first reaction is that the agent needs to have his azz kicked for releasing any information on an ongoing FBI investigation.
My second reaction is that I know of no agent of any kind that would go out on such a limb. They are ALL very sharp and very well educated people. Doing something like this especially since it leapfrogs over the chain of command is suicide to a field agent or even an SAIC.
Either the agent is not as smart as the ones I know or there is something pretty weird happening. This is all VERY strange.

Did anyone get murdered because of Fast & Furious? It’s been so long it’s hard to remember.
