Just two days after President Obamas re-election, the Obama Interior Department announced a plan to shut down 1.6 million acres of federal land to oil shale development. The land had originally been slated for drilling under President George W. Bush. OBAMA SHUTS DOWN 1.6M ACRES TO OIL SHALE DEVELOPMENT

Not if Obama can help it. And he can.
He’s not much good at getting anything done, but he’s good at stopping and wrecking anything he touches. It’s just a matter of appointing the right czars to the right places, so he doesn’t have to actually do anything.

The United States will overtake Saudi Arabia to become the world's biggest oil producer before 2020 Although many news articles have used this claim and title, the actual report this based upon includes ALL liquid energy sources. So the number to get above Saudi Arabia includes Natural Gas Liquids, Ethanol, Bio-Diesel, etc.

How long before fracking will be under the primary jurisdiction of the WH and not the states?

That's really odd, because this article from MAY 2011, says the US already is one. They really need to get their stories straight and consistent if we're supposed to believe them.

I do not believe a damn word, not one!
Had Newt been elected, we would have been on top.
Had Romney been elected, we had a good chance of being on top.
With that white hating black bastard in office and the democrats in power... there is no way to win at this. Besides, under democrat rule, it won’t be long before we can no longer afford fuel or even the things we need it for.
