This seems like a pretty good reason to push the David Petraeus-Paula Broadwell affair from a boys-club peccadillo into a resignation-worthy event. According to a transcript of a speech by Broadwell at the University of Denver the week before the election, Broadwell told an audience that the reason for the September 11 attack on the Benghazi consulate was neither a YouTube video nor a celebration of the anniversary of 9/11, but a prison escape for jihadis secretly held by the CIA in its nearby annex.
Late last night, the CIA denied this report of a secret prison in its now-abandoned Benghazi facility:
The Central Intelligence Agency denied charges Sunday that its annex in Benghazi, Libya secretly held a few jihadi prisoners until it was destroyed in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. Paula Broadwell, the girlfriend then-CIA chief Gen. David Petraeus, made that claim during an Oct. 26 speech in Denver, Colo.
I dont know if a lot of you have heard this, but the CIA annex had actually had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner. And they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back, Broadwell declared during the speech, at the University of Denver.
Thats still being vetted, she added.
The CIAs denial came just hours after Arutz Sheva, an Israeli news outlet, first published a partial transcript of Broadwells speech. By midnight Sunday, intelligence reporters with both The Daily Beast and The Washington Post were reporting and tweeting, respectively, that the CIA said her claim was false.

Good point.
What if the goal of the attackers for this raid was to grab the Ambassador and trade him for a couple of prisoners the CIA had? What do we really know about the Ambassador’s location? We know that he said goodby to the Turkish diplomat at 8:30pm. After that, we’re TOLD that he was in the safe room with the computer guy and one security guy. We have yet to hear from the security guy. The computer guy is dead. We see some photos of the Ambassador, alive or dead, being carried around. Then, we’re TOLD, some looters take the Ambassador to a hospital. We’re TOLD that some Americans go to the hospital and find that the Ambassador was alive when brought to the hospital, but he died from smoke inhalation. These Americans take his body to the Benghazi airport where it’s eventually returned to the US. Several people tried several times to find the Ambassador after the security guy went out the window at the mission. Nobody finds him? Some looters find him? Things get curiouser and curiouser.
How would it look for Obama if his administration is keeping prisoners in Libya after the Democrats made such a fuss over Bush?
Now that I think about it, they said they had captured some of the attackers and turned them over to somebody in Libya. Why would our people do that? Wouldn’t we be for bringing them to the US for questioning? I don’t think our people give up attackers that easy. Doesn’t smell right.
Broadwell didn’t sound too concerned during her speech on 10/26. She had to know what was coming down the pike. Her husband didn’t hide his fb page until after Petraeus resigned, and media had harvested photos.
fb, gmail, hacked email ... doesn’t add up for spooks.

No date ...
The Times names Washington Congressman Dave Reichert as the man contacted in late October by an FBI whistleblower who wanted Congress to know the investigation was underway.
Reichert, who referred the whistleblower to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, confirmed for KING 5 News that the Times article is correct, but had no further comment beyond that.
Well put! ;-) ROTFLOL
