Those Other Petraeus Emails

Likely we will never get to read the email exchanges between Petraeus and Paula Broadwell, but we do have these, accidentally leaked to Mondoweiss, between the celebrated general and Romney the advisor and uberhawk Max Boot. The context is that in 2010 Petraeus submitted a statement before the Senate Armed Services Committee which said that the conflict between Israel and Palestine presented challenges for America’s ability to advance its interests in the Muslim world.

Arabs have rights in Israel, a Hell of a lot more rights than exist in all other Arab nations combined.

Sharia is very specific: if you are not a male and Muslim, your have no rights, period, and can be killed at will.

The mere existance of Israel and the U.S.A., and our success in the world, outrages Arabs/Muslims. They have not been able to keep pace with the scientific advances of western civilization because Islam does not allow Free Will, very important for discoveries and experimentation.

Frankly I do not care about much of the Middle East outside of Israel, and would prefer our nation withdraw from having anything to do with Islamic dominated nations.

I didn't even notice that. I thought you were referring to the content. I guess we know what kind of language is passe to me now. LOL

I understand how personal this is to you. The similarity between your nephew's MOS and Woods' and Doherty's is very close. I think this whole situation strikes very close to home for a lot of vets and vets' families. A lot of State Dept. and CIA personnel and their families too. That may be the catalyst that keeps this from being swept under the rug.

Before his scheduled testimony, an outline of his testimony had to be submitted to the Marxist for review. Obviously, it didn’t please Jarrett and the Marxist, so he resigned.

I’m not sure we’ll ever hear from him again, unless wife Holly tells him to “buck up or man up,” and reminds him of “honor, duty, country,” given that the military has been her whole life.

I would second your statements. There probably quite accurate in the whole. As for Holly Petraeus, I can see her demanding of her hubby what you wrote. She is as big a loser in this sad affair as much as him.

Thanks very much, dearest you. I’m very sorry my grandson saw fit to enlist under the Marxist, but he did it regardless and he loves the Corps. We can only pray for them and I mean for all of them, and I do, faithfully. I want our brave heroes out of that Afghanistan hell hole ASAP.

I’m sick of this Petraeus story and he’s the only one who can put it to rest or give fuel to get the impeachment proceedings started. I much prefer the latter, which I believe we know to be the truth.

I have very similar feelings regarding our men and women in Afghanistan. And I am also rather sick of the Petraeus story, as well. It was a clever divergent scheme to keep the issue cloudy regarding who was responsible for the deaths of four Americans. God keep you and yours, strong and healthy.
