And what is the bald wonder, Gov. Scott, going to do about this rampant corruption in his state? In Texas, Attorney General Greg Abbotts office would be supervising this recount so that the blatant theft of Col. Wests office would be contested. Nothing ... he has RINO Pam Bondi as the state attorney General and she is a leftist statist

OK- In simple terms, here is where we stand:
West complained that the 37000+ “Early” votes had counting problems election night. The Supervisor said they had a faulty memory card on one of the counting machines that failed to upload all the votes. So she re-counted them at 2 am Wednesday. He claimed he was ahead by 2500 votes, and after the recount he was behind by 2000 votes. His concern was/is that some votes were counted twice.
Because of all the controversy and an admitted computer problem, the state stepped up and told the Supervisor to recount those early votes.
She publicly noticed an emergency meeting for 7am today to recount the early votes.
But then she decided only to recount 3 of the 8 days: the final 3 days with approx 16000 votes. West protested, believing all 37000 early votes should be counted.
They finished the count, with more counting problems with memory cards failing, and it showed 799 FEWER votes than originally reported.
Murphy lost 535 votes, West lost 132 votes, lowering the margin of victory to .58%. Threshold for automatic recount is .5% or less.
BUT! If counting only 3 days shows a discrepancy of 799 votes, it strengthens his contention that all 37000 votes should be re-tabulated.
I am fairly certain the state elections officials were there today, and am hopeful they will order a full re-tabulation of all the early votes. If the percentage of error holds, it could further cut the margin to trigger the automatic recount of all votes in all 3 counties in the District.

Florida banned electronic voting machines 6 years ago. All our ballots are paper- fill in the bubble. But they are counted by machines. At first, anyway. With nearly 10 million ballots to count, it has to be mechanized to get results in a reasonable time. But there is a paper trail.

Why do we have to get our results so quickly.
I would make them take a week to count the votes, and then at a certain time, all states one by one would announce their results simultaneously, then you have no idea where you stand and how much you have to cheat to win.

I don't know why we want results so fast- but I know the 37 day delay in 2000 made the President's transition much more difficult. Florida's state legislature organizes exactly 2 weeks after the election, and outgoing officials leave office on election day.
Each state writes its own election laws and policies. I sure don't want our elections federalized!
Only 3 of our 67 counties had delays counting- only one has questions about the integrity of the process.
With nearly 10 million votes cast, not altogether bad.
To: Goldwater Girl
Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach allowed voting for two days, other counties where prohibited from voting.
Not all together bad???? It’s a disaster! The law must apply equally, everyone must have an equal opportunity to vote.
They have repeated the mistakes of 2000.

Thanks for the update. But, but, but......799 faulty counted votes out of approximately 16 000 votes! That is an error close to 5%. In an election whose outcome is determined by less than a percent of the total vote!
Come on! It isn’t that hard to organize an election with a proper vote count. What the h..l is going on? (That was a rhetorical question BTW.)

Until today a recount of the first 3 days might have been sufficient, but because of the stonewalling and shenanigans and SOE Walker’s violation of the public trust, a full accounting of all votes should now be demanded.

See the video above. They cleared the building after not counting the votes. No questions allowed by press, or one very persistent woman.

Recall the Stupidvisor of Elections before she’s allowed to “retire” with a pension.
That board has a lot of nerve.

Certainly there is one member of the canvassing board that could have had the gonads to stand up and walk out?
They aren’t talking because of possible charges if they open their mouths.
Sick.
