In a little-noticed footnote to last weeks election, state legislature elections this year have produced the highest number of states with one-party rule in 60 years. Democrats or Republicans now have sole control of the governorship and both legislative chambers in 37 state capitals around the country.
According to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), which tracks party representation in the countrys 50 state governments, Democrats now control all three bases of power the governorship and both houses of the state legislature in 14 states and Republicans in 23, with only 12 states sharing power. (Nebraskas unicameral legislature is considered nonpartisan.)
Regional power bases are also emerging, with Democrats increasingly dominating state governments across New England.
Conversely, after last weeks vote, the GOP for the first time since 1872 now controls the Arkansas House and Senate. Just 20 years ago, Republicans didnt have a majority in a single legislative house in the states of the old Confederacy now they control all 11.
The number of states with divided government is down from 31 just 16 years ago to 12 today, prompting speculation on the countrys evolving partisan geography.

Battle lines are being drawn.
If I did not know better, the US appears headed for a political version of the Thirty Years’ War.
France shouldn’t make the Germans mad. ..We know what
usually comes after.
If only there was a way to split it up. Unfortunately, it boils down to Democrats controlling the concentrated parasite nests (”cities”) and Republicans controlling the rest of the landscape inhabited by normal, taxpaying, traditional American families. So there’s really no way to pile together all the parasite nests into one geographic area and let the scumbags have it. What a predicament.
unfortunately, the rats have the big states and the pubs have the little states....we need to change election laws in the swing states and its going to be impossible to do with the rats...
In all of those Republican states, and in any others where it can be done, if they have not done so already, they should a) come up with strict voter ID laws, and b) limit or eliminate early voting. If not dealt with, these are areas ripe for Democrat vote fraud.
Democrats now have a super majority in California. Republicans are totaly irrelevant. before Republicans could atleast hold out. Not now.
owebama did not win a single state that has voter I.D. laws.
PA, OH, FL, WI, CO, NV, MI, CA, WA, OR, etc. all have heavily populated urban areas controlled by demoncrats that had unbelievable vote percentages for his majesty. The rural areas of those states went mostly for Romney.
Now we know how elections are stolen.
The easiest (therefore least likely) solution if they aren’t going to require voters to show I.D. is proportional assignment of electoral college votes based on how areas within a state voted.
I live in Idaho where we DO have voter I.D. We went about 70/30 for R and R. FUBO!!!
Lucky me. I live in socialist utopia Maryland funded by our heros in DC.

TN has a super majority in both houses plus governor. If anyone thinks the south is going down easy, they need to think again

We have railroads and plenty of cattle cars
We could afford to let them have a good port. However, Los Angeles is a port only because most of the Colorado River is so diverted (correct me if I’m wrong on that).
Send them all there and shut down the water supply.
Problem solved.

Last I saw, the dims only had Florida in the south (through fraud) and very little in the middle of the country. Look at the map. It would be very difficult to survive in a blue area without the reds agreeing to it

As has been pointed out earlier on this forum, Ohio has voter ID law
It was pointedly not enforced this cycle. It will be in place for the next elections.
I was under the impression that their voter ID law was tied up in court thanks to owebama’s department of justice for my people.
I don’t think that’s correct — I think there are 3 states with voter ID laws that went to Obama.
I read the funniest article in Salon a few days ago. (funny peculiar, not haha).
Salon is staunchly left, and read by the left. They were celebrating the absolute supermajority CA had by the extreme left, because the state was in SUCH trouble, and it was the evil Republicans (I kid you not!) that had destroyed it! Now that the beneficent and intelligent Dems had TOTAL control, utopia would finally come forth!
I feel for all the freepers in CA, but other than that, it is going to be such fun to watch it implode. Although of course, Obama’s probably going to force all the rest of us to bail out the mess they are going to make.

Could have been. The problem with voter fraud is that turnouts of over 100% not being addressed by the courts. Fl is a red state (barely) PA probably too. Voter ID probably wouldn’t have solved either without some elementary math. More people voted than existed. This will only be solved by the people, not the courts or the laws
