A lawyer for Florida Republican Rep. Allen Wests re-election campaign said Saturday there is absolutely no chance of conceding the race despite Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy holding the lead by 2,429 votes.
A complete but unofficial vote tally released Saturday put Murphy ahead with 166,799 votes to Wests 164,370 giving him a 0.7 percent advantage, above the 0.5 percent threshold to trigger an automatic recount, the Palm Beach Post reported.
But Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a volunteer lawyer for the West campaign, told TheBlaze there are significant concerns, particularly in St. Lucie County. St. Lucie is the only one of the three counties in the congressional district Murphy won, according to the AP.
We have some serious challenges to make in St. Lucie County, said Shapiro, who said he wasnt speaking officially on the campaigns behalf. We have a lot of confidence thats its very possible the numbers in St. Lucie County could change, and they could change dramatically
it definitely could change the outcome [of the race].

YES! GO WEST! You’re in my prayers!
I hope the governer is inclined to prosecute thousands of people for felonies. That would put a dent in the voter fraud.
Recount of early ballots begins Sunday at 7am. Sure will be praying for Col. West this Sunday!
Me too! At least he fights for America.
They seemed to know Allen and friends would be busy at the Veteran's Day Parade Event. We are getting people to arrive before the 7AM start, right now, as I write this people are driving from hours away to help!
Would they choose to just recount the early ballots because they know they lean democrat? My prayers are with Mr. West and I hope he accomplishes something. Ya gotta admire his spunk. There’s nothing the dems hate more than a black man who thinks for himself. Well maybe a white man who has made it big by hard work.
Thanks for the update! Keep us informed! We are all so inspired by a true leader and those who are helping him!
A MESSAGE FROM REP ALAN CLEMMONS:
248,000 votes were cast during Tuesday's Presidential Election in a county where there are only 176,000 voters! I had the honor of assisting the Florida GOP Election Day Deployment in the Romney Legal Command Center. We had over 1,000 different poll watcher calls across Florida report suspected voter fraud, including dual voting, usually involving the suspected casting of in-person AND mail-in votes by the same voter. We appropriately advised the poll watchers, but the problem was much worse than even suspected! Saint Lucie County alone cast 72,000 more votes than there are registered voters in the entire county! For those of you who maintain that voter fraud is a myth, welcome to reality! Voter ID is South Carolina's first stop on our journey to secure the vote; next stop: absentee voting reform! Hopefully Florida will do likewise!
By the way, Saint Lucie County is in Colonel Alan West's congressional district!
Wow! Very interesting information!
a mere 4400 vote clerical error — that’s all — but it always happens at midnight in the dark and favors the Democrat.
Look this is fine, but where is the RNC, not that we want them stepping in at this point and selling out someone we need as part of some other deal with the dems.
The fraud in the key places in the election was HUGE, blatant, and the media won’t cover it.
They will paint anyone who even DARES to mention it a Racist, or a birther, or some other already-discredited name, like a “Tea Partier”.
<>Saint Lucie County alone cast 72,000 more votes than there are registered voters in the entire county!<>
Alan Clemmons is mistaken. Check it out:

The 248,000 number is because it was a two card [page] ballot [124,000 voters x 2 cards = 248,000 cards cast].
Thanks for the information. That makes sense!
FYI
The St Lucie County SOE has decided that an EARLIER vote recount would be best. She has decided that day would be on SUNDAY Nov 11th @ 7am, VETERANS DAY, while all the West constituents are a part of Veteran's Day activities. PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD WE NEED THE MASSES TO SHOW UP AND HELP OVERSEE THE RECOUNT!!! #AllenWest #Florida

And there are rules about observers they will explain to you- you can’t be disruptive, touch a ballot, etc. If you see something problematic, you notify the campaign- you don’t talk to the counters. That’s what happened to that poor man in Palm Beach when he for expelled- he was questioning the counters directly, and touching the table.
I am fairly certain she didn’t decide to do this on her own- I bet the state Elections people insisted on it and are there to oversee the process- lawyers, administrators- and likely some state party people as well.
This is very hopeful and good news for Congressman West. Without a judge, he is getting what he wanted. I just hope the result is a good one!
That's funny. They are NOT going to prosecute the clown at the top, King Hussein Obama for voter fraud.
Hussein cheated fair and square and has won. Now bend over and surrender all of your rights to the state. SLAVE.
