i believe the speaker of the house doesn't even have to be a current congressman. Levin talked about it some months ago. But I’m not sure if you can be a senator and speaker of the house.Seems to be a double dip there.

Make Mark Levin Speaker of the House. There is not a Constitutional requirement for the Speaker to be a member of the House. They can be anyone. Lets get someone up there with a set of minerals.

I was going to say the same thing, but just now remembered that there is no restriction on who can become Speaker of the House, as it is not required that they be a seated member in the House of Representatives.
