TheBlaze/AP) — Paula Broadwell first met fellow West Point graduate David Petraeus in the spring of 2006, when she was a graduate student at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
He was a lieutenant general working on a counterinsurgency manual that would be tested during his command in Iraq. The university had invited him to give a speech.
Broadwell was in the Army Reserve after being recalled three times to active duty since the Sept. 11 attacks to work on counterterrorism issues and intended to return to active duty or get into the policy world, according to the preface of the Petraeus biography she would later write with a Washington Post editor.

Did Petraeus reveal the affair or was it leaked by someone else? I was thinking that maybe he resigned so he can testify against obama i.e. he has being blackmailed. He may refuse to testify, but he may not have any choice.
How honest and truthful would any testimony he gave be? People here are assuming that he would uphold the ironclad honor code of West Point, which has has apparently *already* broken (both of them were bound by the same code, and both of them broke that code, so anything either of them has to say thereafter about anything at all, is in my eyes, suspect...)

Who knows, maybe she was telling the truth.
There is a level of self-interest/vanity in her voice that rings my personal alarm bells, but she certainly is attractive and she seems intelligent.
She reminds me of Jane Fonda at that age. Slick.

No mention that Petraeus had radiation treatment for prostate cancer in 2009.
Radiation and prostate cancer generally not noted for being a great libido enhancer

Too many people at the function could debunk it.
