David Petraeus, the retired four-star general who led the U.S. military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, abruptly resigned Friday as director of the CIA after admitting he had an extramarital affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, according to a new report.

Amen, at one time I actually thought Colin Powell was a great general. Nowadays I don't know how the public would be able to tell a Great General from one who brown-nosed their way to the top. Accepting an appointment to serve in a Democratic administration is probably an indicator though.
