Hillary Clinton will step down as U.S. Secretary of State within 'days' of President Barack Obama's second inauguration in January, her spokesman said today.
Her long-respected(?) departure is expected by most Democrats to be a prelude for a White House run in 2016, when she will be 69.
The top candidate to replace her is believed to be Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the losing 2004 Democratic presidential nominee.

Or they change it back to appointing someone until regular election. I’d look for that to happen. They have absolutely no shame.
Would Urkel appoint himself? I wouldn’t put it past them to stick Marsha in there so she could get a head start against Brown in ‘14.
“President Biden. That would be sillier...”
You have to admit, it would be a fun campaign to watch.
“Would Urkel appoint himself?”
He could if he wanted to and I’m sure that it’s been discussed. But I’m pretty convinced he’s going to Justice. Marsha could hold the line until they get Meehan in. I’m convinced Meehan’s going to be the one serving out Kerry’s term just so he can hold Warren’s hand.
Better start pumping her full of formaldehyde now...
We’re already in a war. The liberal politicians’ refusal to fight it is what is prolonging it.
“How odd this administration is, making conservatives rely on the Clintons to tear down the Leftists in the White House.”
Seems to me she can tear all she wants to now that he’s been reelected as if she runs in 2016, which I think is certain then she is basically starting the campaign now, and endearing herself to, or rather duping Conservatives to her side can only be a benefit. Planning ahead for 2016.
Obama the bad guy, and Hillary the good guy. Now THAT’s transparency.
Can’t imagine any reason he’d have to divorce her. Waste of money.
These folks are like a never ending puke. Just when you think you’ve got rid of the worst of it, even more vile stuff comes out.
shhh! maybe they will. he’d be low hanging fruit.
You’re so silly.. Thinking there will BE an election. You know 0bama’s going to extend the Presidential term limit.
I don’t think Bill makes it another 4 years. He looks terrible.
What is their worst case scenario and what is our best case scenario in regards to charging with actual crime? My real ulterior motive is if the zero is taken out, can the Vice Pres also be taken out?
I’m not a lawyer, but I think so.
LOL!
She is starting to morph into Mao.
LOL--low hanging fruit is eaten by fruit rats and other rodents.
Hillary was responsible for not upping the security .. but she does not, nor did she, have the authority to bring any outside troops into Libya.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yes but you have to start thinking like the POS leftists we have running the nation. They make the foot fit whatever shoe they have.
The spin would be:
” The CBA to intervene could not be issued because Secretary Clinton by that time had failed or refused to put the necessary security infra structure and staff in place
so that any CBA could be eexecuted without collateral damage and loss of innocent life.” ( fait accomplis)
You have to get accustomed to the fact that we are no longer a nation of laws or regulation where authority and responsibility are established. The lines are continually shifting; we are now ruled by a leftist “king.” The law is continuously changing according to the needs of the “Won.”
The size of the kings foot on any given morning makes the law in terms of executive duty. Hell, congress has not even compelled the POS to disclose his original birth certificate, and they certainly will not move to use any of the presidents excesses to impeach him, the MSM will not even publish them.
We no longer live in a free nation, my friend. Get used to at least 4 more years of it and prepare to fight that enemy. You still think that they are bound by the usual rules, when in fact they are not. Until you do that you can’t effectively fight back.Congress needs to get to that same point.
People like Craig Livingstone.
