Bill O’Reilly suggested last night that the Democrat Party may have some trouble if they can’t turn things around.
“If the economy does not turn around, you can forget about the Democratic Party. They’re going to just evaporate. The people have been very generous to Barack Obama. The American people have been very generous to him. They’re giving him another chance. If he fails now. Believe me.”
Which would not be a bad thing.

The democrat party will be around as long as there's meat on the national carcass.

More hot air from the king of blowhards. The Dem Party will get stronger if we plunge into a Depression. People will want more government and will want to start confiscating the property of those who were responsible and saved. Just look at Greece. The economy collapses and the people don’t turn into Adam Smith. They turn into thugs looking to loot whatever property is not protected.

The mistake O'Reilly makes is that he is assuming that people will be honest in their assessment. But they only believe what they're told. And if the media, and the Obama spinners claim that it will take 20 years to recover, there are a certain number of people who will believe it.

In every cloud there is a silver lining. Now, just as plenty of people with voter’s remorse after 2008 could have avoided that problem and helped the country out if they had been paying attention or done a little research, people today have no excuse for their choice after seeing Obama in action over four years.
One pundit has said that whichever party won the White House in 2012 would not win it again for a long time. The fiscal bomb is going to explode no matter what, and it won’t be pretty.
No doubt the Democrats will still be blaming George Bush. But that won’t work forever.
