In a city where President Obama received more than 85 percent of the votes, in some places he received almost every one. In 13 Philadelphia wards, Obama received 99 percent of the vote or more. Those wards, many with large African American populations, also swung heavily for Obama over John McCain in 2008 --snip-- Randall Miller, a history professor at St. Joseph's University, said politicians almost never get 99 percent of the votes anywhere except, perhaps, the towns where they were born.

This is how all the sudden Asian voters came out too.
This is how all the sudden Asian voters came out too.
you couldn’t walk down the street in a big city and get 99% of the people to agree on what day of the week it is.
Bingo!
Add the 'I-pulled-the-lever-for-Romney-but-wound-up-with-Obama' vote that also occurred in multiple locations AND the 'illegal' aspect of the Latino vote that made up the 75% that voted for Obama, and geez....
guess who *won*?
90+% voting happened before, just read the following news except....
Putin’s United Russia recorded a higher percentage of votes in predominantly Muslim Chechnya, where federal troops fought two wars since the fall of the Soviet Union, than anywhere else in the country. Official results show support at 99.5 percent and voter turnout of 99.4 percent.
Nationwide, the party won just under half the votes, securing a slim majority in the State Duma. Even that outcome, critics said, was the result of ballot stuffing and fraud. Countless complaints have been filed; but not in Chechnya....
“United Russia is the party of Putin, and Chechnya would never vote for Putin,” said one middle-aged resident of the regional capital of Grozny, who declined to give his name for fear of retribution. “In the mind of every Chechen he is associated with the bombing that destroyed Grozny and other cities all over the region,”
“Voting for Putin is about as absurd as any vote with a 99 percent outcome,” he said.
It’s treason to the government in power. ;)

In Washington DC, Obama won 91% of the vote.
Thanks. I was aware of this but had forgotten the details. They were trying to manipulate the vote to favor Bush, and this was a part of the claims that the 2000 election was stolen. I’ve said before that I believed this should be further investigated.
This is why I think we need some kind of program to be required that automatically saves all the interactions to the program itself, in a way that can’t be manipulated - or at least in a way where there is public accountability possible. Kind of like a “black box” in airplanes (or at least how I understand a “black box” to be; I could be totally misunderstanding it).
I checked to make sure my mother was removed when she died. I've made sure I was removed from the rolls when I've relocated.
Eric Holder is sure to prosecute his people...NOT!!!

I don’t care if counting the votes takes a month or two to get a final count, paper ballots are the only way to eliminate this threat of vote tampering. The paper ballots could be, by law from Congress, be maintained for six years and then transferred to microfish, as a measn of protecting the recorded votes so investigations could be legitimized. If the 2000 election was stolen by vote fraud, I want people prosecuted. If the 20012 election was stolen, I want hangings. There has to be a reason why the damned Republican’ts didn’t try to do anything about securing the vote when they held the House, the Senate, and the White House. If they were cheating too then I want both sides exposed and hangings to ensue. Sadly, it is no longer true that We The People are the sovereigns of this now dead Republic. The oligrachs now rule and nothing will wrest control from them because they work for someone higher on the gloablist scale such that both parties are thoroughly corrupted and the media is owned by the paymasters.
I agree. The biggest issue this nation faces, IMHO, is the lawlessness within our own government. The other issues could be reasonably solved if we had real ways of holding government accountable to the rule of law.
The vulnerability of paper records is that if they’re going to be counted by machine at all they use punch-holes and a whole stack can be lined up at once and punched through with a knitting needle. And the handling gets the “hanging chads” mess. If they were hand-tabulated there’s the potential for human error/fraud and it would take a long time.
Probably any method would require enforced accountability in order for people to be very confident of integrity. And that would mean a lot of safeguards set in place, to get rid of the opportunities for fraud. Observers from both parties and video surveillance from the moment the door is unlocked to the moment the FINAL results are sent to the SOS (AND both parties, simultaneously) should be considered the bare minimum.
Real penalties for cheating will also be necessary, from prison terms of no less than five years all the way to hanging for really pernicious cheating. But this is all moot since the Republic is now dead and the captain of the titanic is setting to work embalming the mangled remains.
bump
not one Republican loser will challenge the cheating.
No, There is at least one who is fighting back.
