Mitt Romney made just one mistake, one miscalculation, one fatal move. Picking Paul Ryan was the wrong young man to put on his ticket. We could have had a Tea Party Hispanic from the State of Florida, Marco Rubio that would have given us Florida, at least 10% more Hispanic voters instead of going backwards. What a disaster, what a missed opportunity.

OMG, are you saying Marco Rubio did not campaign for Mitt Romney in Florida? Or are you saying Marco Rubio has no electoral influence in Florida unless he’s the VP candidate?
I am really tired of people here who have bought into the lie that Marco Rubio is not eligible to be President or Vice-President of the United States.
It simply is not true.
I can take either combination. But I prefer two excellent politicians who have great command of language and outstanding delivery of speech. Rubio meets my standards.
Real Conservatives do not blame Paul Ryan for the loss
Marco “La Raza” Rubio...with his support for Illegal Alien Amnesty...would have kept a lot of conservatives at home. Rubio’s involvement in the Florida GOP credit card scandal would have been a main DNC ad campaign
The GOP needs to get off its “Hispanic Voter” fetish. You are not going to win the Hispanic Vote....get over it
+1
You must have read The Harbinger.
Be happy with your non-reporting. You and Obama/Dummycrats will have much to answer for in the very near future.
Actually, all we needed were the counters on the Philly voting machines to be at 0 when the voting started. We needed the election official who wore the Obama hat to be arrested and we better damn well have voter ID laws and no early voting in place by 2016 or we’ll be doing this hand-wringing all over again.
Write off the Hispanic vote? That’s is your plan? Do most of your plans fail? Have you ever heard of the word Demographics? It is very interesting, it’s like being able to see into the future and ready yourself for it. You certainly can’t do it with your head where the sun don’t shine. Socialism is very attractive, Capitalism must be sold. Whoever asked, yes, there is a big difference between speaking at a rally and being on the Presidential Ticket. We know must continue down the wrong road for the next 4 years, I will be 62 before he is done. I’m mad as hell.
Rubio 2016
Nope it is on my to get list but haven’t read it yet. I just know what has to happen....
I had a liberal “friend” on Facebook post this tonight:
“Whadaya know, the days of the ‘good ole’ boys’ may have finally passed ...”
In 2008, we had an old white guy and a woman on the ticket. The electorate could see right through that stupid move...
In 2012 we have two squeaky clean white guys....I knew that would not win, especially since the incumbent was a (half) black guy.
My question would be, will we EVER be able to run a good candidate without our motives being questioned? Two white guys ain’t gonna cut it, obviously, and if you add a women or person of color on the ticket then motives will be in question.
Why can’t we just all be COLOR BLIND???? Or better put, why can’t voters VOTE ON THE ISSUES AND NOT ON THE SKIN COLOR of the candidates? I do think there is racism involved, and I think the deck was stacked against the two white guys because they weren’t “Cool”
While Caucasians have tried to be color blind the Negroes and south of the border types have never been.
They hate Caucasians and they hate our free society. They think we made our greatness on the backs of others but when they take over and everything collapses because of their total lack of ability to sustain cities and societies, they stick their hands out and blame Caucasians again.
My eyes are finally fully open. Caucasians, including me, tried to be color blind and be fair while they remained a monolithic, white hating group who's intent is to take power and get rid of us. The US may just have ended and the days of freedom, especially for Caucasians, are numbered.
Marco 2016!
“People dont vote for VPs.”
We voted for Sarah!
