Don't want to read anything into it, but, US futures are fading, as the results will come in.

Looks like I will stay the course.
I had plans to move some money into stocks, and buy a couple of big ticket items.

Should have sold in October like I advised my clients. We are going down in a disastrous way. This time the Dems won’t be able to blame Bush, because the Obama has had the job four years.

If obama wins and it looks like he will... I will shut down my 40 year old business early next year and reduce my footprint as much as possible. I will not feed the beast that is eating me... any more than I have to. I am John Galt.

We will be COMPLETELY owned by China. Why would anybody want to continue running a business in this country?

I’m with you. I won’t continue to feed this f**king beast.
Just not worth it anymore.

I’m sure an 0bama win was ‘priced in’ to the market months ago. The market has been way up, so as far as the Wall St guys are concerned the world has been wonderful during the past 4 years. They probably couldn’t imagine anything but an 0bama win.
In keeping everything up though, I believe they’ve built a massive house of cards that will come crashing down.

The votes that went to the Libertarian candidate in Florida would put Mitt Romney in winning position right now. Do we think there are military votes that will be coming in the mail in the next few days?

Wonder what the unemployment rate will be up to in January when all those “good” part-time holiday retail jobs come to an end.....

If this country of malcontents, fagots, moderates that have no moral or fiscal core... racists, anarchists... if this rotten corpse of what once was truly the greatest republic known to man... if they love obama and his marxist, muslim ways so much... then I refuse to pay for any more of it than I legally have to. Three SCOTUS picks and we are DOA and harry reid controls that event 100%.

I’m running the numbers right now. I had plans of expansion. The help wanted sign was going to go out tomorrow if Romney won.
I’ll cut back on new clients, keep just busy enough to keep my household going (and stash some) and ride it out.
One thing I think we are learning is Romney had the 47% wrong.
WE are the 47%.
The takers are the other 53%.

Bet folks are shorting coal companies. Already have a lot of gold and treasury shorts.
One good thing about having 5 acres in the exurbs is you can yell real loud and nobody cares. But after my bout of shouting expletives, I did manage to get the dogs going.

I agree. Well I have been losing money since obama was elected and if obama wins... I retire and go John Galt. Sad... I have worked all of my life... playing by the rules... honoring my word... building a fine business and a stellar reputation. I have never failed to pay any taxes that I have owed. I have never defaulted on a loan. I owe no one but utilities... I worked hard and paid for my home and autos. I have lost half of my retirement savings through obama’s devaluing of the dollar and I see the end of our Republic with the next three SCOTUS picks by obama. I am scared to death for all of us... society will collapse before obama serves out another term... if we are not a smoldering ruin due to the results of our enemies strengths and obama’s weaknesses.

I have my investments in gold and treasury shorts. If Romney won, I would have shifted a lot of my portfolio into energy related equities. Oh well, turn off the lights on America.
As for big ticket items I think a nice high powered rifle would do. The lines will be very long at the gun store.
