Since I haven't seen one yet, I'll start it.
We will get through this because we are the ones who can take care of ourselves when the bottom drops out. We are the ones who will look out for and protect and provide for our families. We don’t need the government and we won’t be surprised when it fails.
I knew the election was lost when right out of the gate Foxnews launched into doom and gloom mode.
I'm what is commonly referred to as a "fallen-away Catholic." I haven't been to church in years. For me, it was really the child sex-abuse scandal. I had close friends and relatives who were abused by priests. While I wasn't abused, two of the priests I grew up with are doing long prison sentences for abusing pubescent boys. Another was openly gay and preached to the congregation about how homosexual acts weren't sinful.
The tepid response of the Church hierarchy is what finally made me close the door. If the hierarchy were at all sincere about repenting of their horrible crimes against the faithful, all of the higher-ups, from Pope on down, would have resigned, they would have forced all homosexual priests (celibate or not) to be laicized and they would have instituted marriage for all new ordinations (with some exceptions for the monastic orders). But that's not what they did. It means that they're the hierarchy are members of the Lavender Mafia. The current Pope is obviously gay (I'm sure he's celibate, but he's clearly gay, just listen to him.
Anyway, it was really the collapse of pillar institutions like the Catholic Church that caused the current rot. All of us - Catholic or not - were betrayed by the homosexual Catholic clergy. They, perhaps more than any others, are the cause of the current moral rot.
And the laity tolerated it, participated in it.
All Americans, and Catholic Americans in particular, richly deserve the chastisement that is coming.
Could I be justly accused of a lack of Christian charity for indulging in a secret enjoyment of their suffering? I think not. I for one am looking forward to watching my fellow Americans suffer for this decision. This is gonna be fun.
I am NOT bashing business... the gasoline market is not a free market. It is a highly regulated market with humongous entry barriers. Cornered beasts are reacting like cornered beasts.
Sooner rather than later, I fear.
They are all fighting with Rove...want him to STFU. Megan is an annoying wretch
The Consitution is dead. This country is over. Everyone wants to be on the dole and doesn’t care who pays for it. The “middle class” has been bought and sold.
It’s only going to get worse so you might as well cash it all in, move or just blow it and live with it.
Time to collapse the system ala Greece, get on every program you can. Take from the dwindling producers. Ayn Rand was wrong.
And, more importantly, can we finally WRITE OFF THE GOP and take it over, ala Reagan, again. But then, that didn’t turn out well.
Frankly, I’m more not looking forward to Obama as much as another 2-4 years of John Boehner kissing his ass.
I’m moving out of the country as soon as possible.
Bye folks.
On Fox...Ohio
Barack Obama
49% 2,275,618
Mitt Romney
49% 2,295,003
Mitt is actually ahead in the popular vote. How does this work again???
Been my contention for some time now ...........
We are going to find out, and soon.
People keep saying, “what happens when?”
We are right on top of the answer. Within 4 years we are going to limit out our ability to monetize our own debt without causing hyperinflation.
Why do you think the federal debt rose 6 trillion in 4 years? That’s the money we spent OVER the taxes we took in.
And tax flow to the government is slowing year on year.
It’s already past no return. That’s why we needed Romney. Just to HALT the debt GROWTH we would have to slash federal spending by 50% or MORE. That means a virtual overnight halt to entitlement spending, cutting social security in half, medicare in half and shaving a little off defense.
Cities will burn.
And that’s if we do it voluntarily NOW. 4 years from now, we will have a full currency crisis and almost no one will own a home. Simply feeding yourself will be a feat.
Fox is as stupid as the rest of them, other than Greta, imo.
Unemployment doesn't pay shit.
Yes, white females made the difference, but we overestimated the desire of conservatives to crawl over broken glass to get to the polls to vote against Obama. The fact that the Republican primaries attracted such little interest was a sign that we could not win in the fall. Romney was supposed to be competitive in such states as OR, MI, WI, IA, OH, PA, and MD, where voters like “moderates.” Never happened. Only George Romney’s old rival, Nixon, managed to sit on a lead and win in 1968.
your words brought more tears ,but i do agree. i wish i knew why everyone doesn’t care about their children and grandchildren’s future. big mystery to me is why some people don’t have a conscience.
Romney ahead in Ohio but they have all called it for Obama
@DickMorrisTweet #election2012 dont give up!
Ha!! Boy he was sure off base with his predictions.
/cynical laugh
NOPE, AND THEY SHOULD NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
Amen to that.
America - a great idea while it lasted... it’s over.
“It’s whining like this, that makes conservatives look weak and ineffective. Don’t blame anyone but yourself, if you don’t succeed.”
I’m doing OK; if you’re successful I’m sure you have no problem with your tax dollars sending less-qualified affirmative action women to college (to the point where they make up 59% of college classes). I’ve been working since I was 12 (I’ve never neen unemployed since), my longest vacation was 2 weeks (my honeymoon; otherwise 1 week), worked full-time while getting my degree full-time, and I’m current on my bills while raising a family in one of the most expensive states in the country.
Nobody knows more than me that nothing is handed to you if you are a white guy; stating facts isn’t “whining”. “Whining” is American women complaining that their marginalized menfolk won’t marry or breed with them, when in fact there is little incentive for them to do so.
There are probably going to be a dozen state recounts in progress tomorrow at dawn with the game still officially a tie.
What has happened is that Rat fraud was tailored. Statistically this shouldn’t be happening.
