The polls are open on the east coast!!
From this morning's election day prayer thread:
"Heavenly Father may you forgive this nation and its people for the many awful sins that we have commited against you. We do not deserve the wonderful ways we have been blessed and please forgive us for our indifference, neglect and complacency towards you. May you forgive us who are members of your Church who have neglected our calling and commitment to you to be effective witnesses and stewards of the many blessings you have generously bestowed upon us. Many of us have cried out to you for the past few years as never before and we humbly beseech you to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation. First we pray that you quicken your Church by your spirit and lead us to unity to stand against the onslaught of darkness upon us. May you smash every crooked deed as evil men and women try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to our people who do not know you and to the nations of the world.
May you block and undo every policy and piece of legislation they have passed that is harmful to this nation. May you make every policy they make fail and may you turn the hearts of the multitudes against them. May you thwart every evil deed they try to divide this nation with. May you bring their own mischief upon them ten fold. May you punish those in our government who are lawless traitors and enemies of the Constitution by exposing them and deliver them into our hands for justice. However we also pray that through this that you open their eyes to the truth and in your mercy that you bring these people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to serve as a witness to many. May you also use this to bring revival across our nation and a restoration of a culture that glorifies You. We also pray for those just leaders in our government who are struggling against the lawless. We pray for your protection and that you embolden them to do what is right to triumph in the election and in the arena of ideas. May you also continue to open the hearts and minds of the American people to the the truth and draw them towards yourself to be renewed in repentance and spiritual rebirth.
And this we humbly ask in Jesus name. AMEN!"
Just voted here in South Alabama.Place was packed, had to park on the grass and had to wait on a place to sit to fill out the ballot.More folks than ‘08.
FOX showing Black Pampers are back at polling station in Philly.
The black panthers better have bigger bats, HEE HEE HEE:
Call them Seal Team November 6. Special operations veterans, including former Navy Seals, Delta Force will be called back into action on Election Day to make certain theres no voter intimidation at the polls.
Philadelphia is a prime target.
Former Navy Captain Benjamin Brink is leading the operation. The nation saw the video of members of the Black Panthers in Philadelphia intimidating people trying to vote in 2008, Brink told me when I interviewed him during my radio show on IQ 106.9. We are going to try and make certain that nothing like that happens this year.
Brink claims to have over a hundred former Army Rangers, Navy Seal, Delta Force, Green Berets and others who have volunteered for duty. The idea of Navy Seals and Black Panthers getting into it at a Philly polling site gives a whole new incentive for casting a ballot. Our guys arent easily intimidated, adds Brink
LOL!
Dude, I’m an Eastsider. :)
As in blood red Clermont county!
We shoot liberals out here for sport!
Over here in York County I arrived at about 10 after 7 and lined up.
I voted number 54 this time. Two years ago in the 2010 midterms I voted number 7.
It was a longer line but not as long and sustained as in 2008. By the time I left the line was shorter than it was when I left the polling place four years ago.
I would have been worried if the line was longer like 2008 but just maybe the line was the right size this time.
It was a tough vote for me but it was for Romney for president.
Tom Smith was a much easier vote for Senate.
We shall see how it turns out tonight.
This could be the greatest election day for the good people of the USA since 1994 (2010 was good too, but ‘94 was better).
Heading to the polls shortly, where — unless the puupetmasters have “calibrated” the machine to alter, negate or ignore my vote — I get to vote to unseat the following incumbents:
1. A ultra-long term corrupt Rat bastard state legislator,
2. A blithering idiot Rat bastard U.S. Senator,
3. A slimy liberal Rat bastard Congressman,
4. Best of all, I get to vote to attach some duck feathers — LAME DUCK feathers — to that empty monkey suit of a pResident!
Dave Wasserman Tweet (Cook Political Report)
OHIO EARLY VOTE: More troubling #s for Obama than in VA. Turnout down 4.1% vs. ‘08 in Kerry/Obama counties, UP 14.4% in Bush/McCain counties
I live in the City of Richmond. It took me about an hour to vote, but the makeup of the line was much different than in 2008. First, the line overall was shorter. Second, there were more older white voters. African-Americans made up a good chunk of the line, but demographically, that is fairly in line with the precinct. But overall, there were more older white voters and fewer younger voters than in 2008.
By the time I left, the line had dwindled down. If Obama cannot run up the vote tally in the City of Richmond, he is toast.
May others be so blessed with your fortitude!
Lord, how I would love to see a bunch of Rangers and Seals show up at that Black Panther polling station to vote! Let’s see if they could intimidate those guys! Make sure the Fox News cameras are rolling the entire time.
Your vote will matter to the popular count. Also a good way to honor our hero Breitbart. Voted last week here in a rep stronghold. Here’s hoping WI turns Red!
food for thought folks over at the DUmp seem to be encountering no wait or lines in their precincts {and they seem to think this is good ...lol}
LOTS of Twitter anecdotals about HUGE turnouts in the Ohio suburbs.
Now lets see how the Dems respond to this. I’m leaving for Ohio now, I’ll try to post from the iPhone later.
GOOD LUCK to AMERICA, folks!
Exeter is a very liberal community but there were a lot of people supporting Romney, Ryan, Ovid, Guinta and the other Republican candidates. I talked to a UNH student holding RR signs next to me and he said there is very little support or enthusiasm for Obama on the UNH campus. He told me that most of the students "are not interested in supporting him this time around." Or "they are not voting because they just do not care." On the other hand he said the Republicans on campus are very active, enthusiastic and fired up. So we shall see if there is a lot less Obama mania student support this time around.
I live in NJ in a retirement community (Central NJ), I just voted and while doing so asked the poll worker how the turnout was. She said it was higher then 2010 by a good bit and we all know what happened that year. Keep in mind that older folks who comprise the population of the community (all 55 or over) make this community of 2000+ people decidedly Republican or at least “red” voters.
Anecdotal to be sure but I’ll take good news where I can find it even though I know NJ isn’t going Romney this year.
Just came home from voting, early first thing. Lots of folks and also the polling place folks were on their toes.
Another Ohio tweet:
OH polls r on fire! If AM is predictor, heavy turnout this day. 3 polling spots w/in 1 mi are all packed with voters.
I’m in. DH and I voted around 7:45 this morning. Heavy turnout in suburban Atlanta (solid Romney county. The polling station had Six Flags type lines, but it moved smoothly.
Daughter voting later this morning before heading back to UGA - that’s 3 votes for R&R.
Heading into battle! Wish me luck! Go team R&R!
My grandfather and great uncle was at Samples Run when it blew up in the ‘20’s. Go Indiana County!
