Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson said Monday he thinks President Barack Obama will defeat Mitt Romney to win a second term.
I think Obamas going to win, thats what I think, Johnson told POLITICO in an interview. [My vote is] really spread out, meaning I dont think theres any state that Im going to do better than another.
Johnson, whos on the ballot in 48 states and the District of Columbia, hovers in single digits in the polls. The former two-term New Mexico governor declined to single out any state where he expected to do particularly well but said he had no regrets about how he ran his campaign. I once would have given serious consideration to the Libertarian party but NEVER AGAIN. They put their egos before the good of the nation. They can rot.
Gary Johnson’s opinion = fruitloop alert.
I toyed with the same thought, and came to the same conclusion.. I think it’s the frustration conservatives go through when we get stuck with a Dole, and McCain..etc
It’s like you want to go off the deep end, until you look down, and back away from the ledge... LOL
Great comment!
I have pointing out for years that most libertarians are stalking horses for the Democrats. They always run under the guise of hating both parties but their scorn is always directed at the GOP.

If my FB list is any indication...Johnson is taking votes away from Obama.
I have some ultralib friends who are disillusioned with Obama. They wandered into Ron Paul territory.
They can’t bring themselves to vote Romney.
These people voted for O in ‘08.
I like the math on that.
I believe that the true Libertarians, like Ron Paul, and Pat Buchanan are authentic, and have a lot to say, that sounds so good..
BUT, when you listen to the whole package, you begin to hear that ticking sound, getting louder and louder, and thats when you realize it’s a Time-Bomb!! HA!
ba da boom... LOLOL ... :)
The first three letters of Johnson’s “Party” is LIB. Enough said.
Thanks for the ping, carlo3b!
I have no use for the GOPe, but I held my nose and voted for McCain in ‘08. Mitt’s not nearly so repulsive and no way would I give Obama anything resembling a chance.
Brady, I stood outside the polling place in ‘08 and hesitated before going in because I swore I wouldn’t vote for McNut..
I just couldn’t shirk my responsibility to my fellow Americans and allow this Communist become the President, so I voted foe McCain.. We didn’t win, but I did my part, as many of us did..
I agree, with you about Romney, but will go a bit further, and say I have grown to really like Romney, a lot.. I was proud to vote this time..
HA! LIB.. I didn't see that, GREAT CATCH...LOL
The GOP has earned a lot of that scorn.
Consider most of the GOP's stated planks and exactly how much they put into striving for them, or rather haven't.
Abortion: As they party adds "no exceptions" to it's stance against abortion, it endorses/confirms Romney, who says "of course I support exceptions." The biggest 'win' on this plank, the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, is quite arguably useless... and even if it wasn't the stagnation of this plank indicates it was not the start of an incrementalistic approach.
Firearms: When was the last time they brought up the option of repealing the GCA or NFA? (Also note that the AWB had a sunset clause, so they literally had to do noting to end the ban.)
Smaller Government: When was the last time the GOP proposed dissolving whole [major] federal agencies? {Renaming/rolling-into don't count.} I read Reagan wanted to end the Department of Education, but that was before my time.
Fiscal responsibility: See above / why is it that only Ron Paul is enthusiastic about auditing the Federal Reserve?
Government Accountability: Really? Tell me what happened to the agents involved in Waco, their leaders? What about the current on-its-face state sponsored terrorism that is Fast & Furious? This could not be so trivial without Republicans being: (1) complacent, (2) complicit, or (3) incompetent.
And then there's Romney... I don't want to vote for him, he's repugnant to me: a statist and socialist. If the Republican party wanted my vote, they'd put up someone I could vote for, not someone whose greatest claim is "I'm not the other guy." (2008 I held my nose and voted McCain, I told myself then that I'd not vote against anyone after that, but only for people.)
The first three letters of 'godless' is GOD... which must mean they're religious folk.
Take me off your list. Im not a 3rd Party Patriot and dont have a lot of patience with the nonsense you post anyhow. If I want to be on a posting list Ill ask.
Gary Johnson: the candidate for the dope-smoking alien-abducted livestock molestors.
And if you give me: weed, whites, and wine
And you show me a sign
I’ll be willin’, to be movin’
Hoy hoy!
