When the black bear you think you're looking at from a safe distance suddenly stands and begins to resemble bigfoot, and that creature stares directly at you, how do you react? The hikers who captured the accompanying footage recently in Utah's Provo Canyon seemed to act appropriately: They bolted through the woods, with the camera still running, to get as far away from the creature as possible. "We ran straight to the car after that, leaving our tent and everything behind. It's probably all still up there," states Beard Card, the YouTube user who posted the video. This is one of the more realistic Bigfoot escapades in some time.
Naturally, skeptics are analyzing the video in the hopes of finding an explanation. Yet even healthy cynics are pretty impressed with what they see. They note that the witnesses don't appear to be acting. If they were, the skeptics say, they'd likely be a lot more vocal, and fall into the overacting trap. (Watch this video for full breakdown.) They also didn't stick around to get a great shot, which also rings of a very natural reaction, but didn't help when it came to capturing a better image.
Nevertheless, the shot of what clearly looks like the animal's big broad arms is extremely compelling, which is why Max Roth of Fox 13 caught up with Beard Card to talk about the incredible encounter.
Card told Roth how they were standing there for a good chunk of time even before recording what they believed to be a bear at the time, while he was trying to get the camera to work. During their exchange, Card hit on their reaction. Here are a few excerpts.
If it is a creature, it is a bear.
However, as soon as the creature stands up, why do they take off running, with the camera recording the ground they are running over, rather than being pointed at the creature?
I would say it is a person in a bear suit, thus a HOAX video.
That’s 30 seconds I wish I had back.
Looked to me like one of them Seattle Anarcho-Bigfeet.
Seriously, it looked like a guy in a black jacket.
I had a bear do that very thing to me abotu 6 years ago- I thought it was my black lab outi n the woods- I yelled to what I thought was the dog, and this bear stands up turns, looks very ‘human-like- saw it sniff the air, tryign to find out where I was, taking some steps, then dropped down and walked off- was very unnerving to say the least- to me, the video here looked like a bear that maybe caught wind or heard somethign, stood to see if it could detect odor or whatever, then moved on-
Okay then. Sergio in post #16 was kind enough to post the direct link so hope you get to see it.
Not a problem my FRiend.
NOT a Bigfoot!!!
awww comon, you didn’t find it even a little bit funny? lol-
Like UFOs, bigfoot videos are always short, jerky and out of focus. These hoaxsters are different in that the video is in-focus but because the subject is behind the thicket, the result is the same as being out of focus. Like the other hoaxes, this video is short and jerky.
I’ve seen better video on Sponge Bob. I’d say least convincing video.
Joe Biden in a big foot outfit and no one told him Halloween is over ?
Did you read about the Bigfoot incident in Northern Montana this past summer? A man impersonating Bigfoot was struck by two vehicles.

A man dressed in a military-style Ghillie suit who was attempting to provoke a Bigfoot sighting was struck by two vehicles and killed on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell Sunday night.
He was trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting, Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider said. Obviously, his suit made it difficult for people to see him.
The Flathead County Sheriffs Office identified the man as Randy Lee Tenley, 44, of Kalispell.
Schneider said Tenleys motivations were ascertained during interviews with friends ... nearby when the man was struck at about 10:30 p.m.
Alcohol may have been a factor, Schneider said. Impairment is up in the air.
He was in the right-hand lane of travel and the vehicle was unable to avoid him and struck him, Schneider said of the first vehicle driven by a 15-year-old girl from Somers.
A second vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Somers girl also struck Tenley as he laid on the highway.
Ghillie suits are commonly used by military snipers and some that are advertised on the Internet have a Bigfoot-like appearance.

Hold mah beer......
Not only do I want MY 30 seconds back, they owe me $5 for wasting my time.
It's amazing that this "hoax" has been carried out for numerous centuries here in North America.
(Really, didn't he think someone might try to run him over? After all, the fame of colliding with Bigfoot would pay for the vehicle many times over...)
I hate you.
“True stories” and “Tapeheads” are two of my favorite cult movies.
