True, at least for some of the attendees. I’m a fan and the band’s website indicated that a number of fans were going to see Dave. They weren’t interested in Obama or Clinton. The band’s fans are rabid; they would go see Dave and/or the band anytime, anywhere and under any circumstances. And this was free.
By the way, only Dave appeared, not the whole band.

I assume you heard about his tour bus dumping the toilet in the Mississippi River in St. Louis a few years ago. At that exact moment a party barge was passing underneath the bridge. Poop and pee covered the reveler’s on a party barge for a dinner cruise .
They had to hurry so the Dave Matthews Band bus didn’t dump toilet contents on them.
