He’s wandering into Chevy Chase territory. Chase evolved from making fun of Gerald Ford on SNL to becoming an embittered old has-been playing an unfunny character on a just canceled sitcom.
You can add Sarah Silverman and Tina Fey to that list too.
Back in the old days people like Carson, Jack Benny, George Burns, and Bob Hope could make jokes about all types of people on both sides and do it in a way that everyone enjoyed. They would never inject themselves so blatantly into campaigns like these creeps do.

Creepy stuff like that is why more people don't vote Republican. They hear weird stuff like that and don't want any part of it.

I agree. Ferrell’s continued crutch of the Bush shtick. It’s as if Jon Lovitz had continued to make a living off of his passable Dukakis imitation, or, hell, Gary Kroeger trying to keep doing Mondale.
Well, we watch movies together as a family. Something about his girlfriend’s grandmother listening to his pornographic descritions takes over things I’d rather discuss with my 14 year old.
His stories of homosexual behavior while pimping at college sort of confuse the issue when discussing SAT prep, not to mention what is normal behavior at a school dance.
Yet, I can’t let them miss Mark Wahlberg’s facial expression when he tells him guys don;t get other guys gifts, Or,”Derek Jeter is a biracial angel”
I’ve always found the movies he stared in were dumb as dirt and that he has all the acting ability of Rob Schnieder, which is to say none.
He and Letterman were funny and entertaining until they decided to express their political leanings.
They decided overthrowing the US was more important than their careers, or, given their ages, decided they had enough socked away to coast to the grave.
