Schedule for Mitt Romney: Saturday -- Newington, NH; Dubuque, IA; Colorado Springs, CO; Englewood, CO... Sunday -- Des Moines, IA; Cleveland, OH; Morrisville, PA... Monday -- Lynchburg, VA; Columbus, OH; Manchester, NH...
Schedule for Barack Obama: Saturday -- Mentor, OH; Milwaukee, WI; Dubuque, IA; Bristow, VA... Sunday -- Concord, NH; Hollywood, FL; Cincinnati, OH; Denver, CO... Monday -- no events scheduled
Without a doubt, their focus groups tell the campaign which of the 2 plays better to each individual state. Clearly, based on his schedule, Ryan resonates with OH very well.
Paul Ryan is a native WI son and he is very popular there.
Without him, I would say WI would go to Obama but Romney appears to have it in his columns because Cheeeseheads love Ryan!
Local news reported on Fri. evening that Romney will be in Sanford FL on Monday...
Just sayin'!
I agree. People radiate what’s in their hearts and minds, no matter how much they try to conceal it. Obama purely radiates how much he hates America and Americans. You can almost see the snarl even when he thinks he’s being oh so smooth.
Mitt Romney radiates just the opposite.
And Robert Gibbs said yesterday Romney was making an 11th hour “desperation” visit to PA.
If the Democrats really have the Keystone State locked up, why schedule 3 Clinton visits there?
Sounds to me one side is chasing after votes at the last minute in PA!
I’ll be happy even if we’re wrong and we lose it.
Let’s say the Obamaites and their media amen chorus - Intrade and the prediction markets are right.
They’re going to have a second term from hell. And they would richly deserve it!
As Michael Barone (who is the “Gold Standard”) said Romney will win by 315.
Max would be 350 Low side would be 295 and I think that 315 is around the middle.
I think now that is where it’ll be at. Few will disagree with Michael Barone. I think he can see what the closing days are showing us.
Where the cheerleaders are blowing minds on hard wood
He's still looking for that one guy in Madison who is thinking of voting for Romney and hoping the rest show up to cheer him on.
Going to Dubuque provides Iowa and Wisconsin exposure.
I don't think it's as much "shoring up" as it is visiting "friendly" venues where he can get larger attendance numbers. The choice is made in order to create a false impression of the national enthusiasm for a second Obama term. The press will take the large turnout and present it as a broad base of strong support.
IOW, Madison is easily "in the bag" for Obama, and will turn out in droves.
In my state - I notice O has only one stop schedule - DEN on Sunday - which means he’s written it off!
Today Romney makes two stops here Englewood and the GOP bastion of COS.
Schedule is not up to date. Romney has a Monday morning event scheduled for Orlando at the Sanford airport.
That explanation occurred to me, too. He can be assured of lots of friendly fellow Marxist faces in Madison.
I just don’t think the Obama lemmings in Madison are all that excited about him.
The Democrats and the unions took a beating when Walker won re-election.
Turnout in Madison will be way down Tuesday over 2008.
Also, Romney added an event at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
O went to Madison the day after the Dem convention because they could be assured a big crowd. His visit there Monday is the same thing. Big enthusiastic crowd to show the cameras.
