Romney ahead of Obama in Pennsylvania by Four Posted on November 2, 2012 by eriecogop
Susquehanna Polling and Research results for Pennsylvania released today shows Mitt Romney leading President Obama 49% to 45% among 1376 likely voters. Two percent are undecided and 3% are for other candidates.
In the same sample Republican Tom Smith leads Senator Casey by two percentage points in the race for the United States Senate seat from Pennsylvania. Smith is at 48% to Caseys 46% according to this poll.
Diana Irey Vaughan (R) is tied with McCord at 45% each, David Freed(R) trails Kane by 45% to 47% and Maher(R) leads DePasuale 45% to 44%.
This poll shows the highly competitive nature of all statewide races where there are no highly favored candidates and it also reveals that Pennsylvania is definitely in play for both the presidential and senatorial races which will determine control of the direction of this nation between two differing visions on energy independence, education, international trade, balancing the budget and support for small businesses.
Clearly, all their base are belong to us.
If PA gets called early enough, I’m going to bed at a decent hour.
I’ll have earned my rest after a long day at the polls.
Wow, major good news for R. You have seen several analyst all saying PA is in play for real this time. And even WashPost indicated it was trending R.
Look, it has long been recognized that the corrupt MSM’s propagandizing on behalf of Democrats easily gives them about a 15 point bump.
BBBBBBIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERYONE keep working to get out every R vote!
There are a lot of gravestones in Philly and every one of them could cast 4 or 5 Obama votes!
I hope this is true.
VOTE!! Everyone!
You can also spot the loser as well. Four years ago at this time, John McCain had those slumped shoulders and that fake "Jerry Sandusky" smile on him as he went through the motions of his final rallies.
Well I saw some video of the beaming Mitt Romney tonight at that Ohio rally and that was the look of a winner. Evidently he has been told by his team that the internals are looking very good and that he can expect to be the president-elect in less than 100 hours from now.
If Pennsylvania falls into place, that will be icing on the cake. But regardless of which way PA goes, Romney is on his way.
As an aside, if PA goes to Romney, we will likely see MI, MN, NV, and WI go to Romney as well. If that is the case, we all need to send Axlerod some dull razors.
Mittmentum....SWEET dreams! GO PA GO!
Look, I know they aren’t polling in NY/NJ right now, but my gut tells me that enraged voters will log protest votes over the incompetent government emergency response.
If that happens, and I think it will, look for NY and NJ to go RED.
Regardless of the direction of the overall assessment, we need the internals and the turnout model to understand the results and its implications.
These are the same results of an earlier Susquehanna poll. You’d think there would have been some movement one way or another in the past two weeks. But no, same exact numbers. I heard these guys on the radio justifying their last poll and they made it clear that they were the most accurate pollster when it comes to PA, and that the turnout models being used by others don’t reflect what’s really happening. I like it.
Susquehanna called Toomey - Sestak in 2010 exactlyI remember reading that a few weeks ago. When Rasmussen and a couple of others showed Toomey with a 4-5 pt lead on the final weekend, Susquehanna showed it tightening way up to about a half point. They tried to tell Toomey, and Pat just lectured them about how they were wrong. I guess he takes their calls now, eh? Great news!!
Mrs. ConservativeInPa said she is going to buy a bottle of Champaign this weekend. Personally, I think she wants to get me drunk and take advantage of me.
What made Hanna so sucksque?
I don’t know how accurate this poll is, but I can tell you with certainty that 0 is beginning to panic. All night long I’ve been seeing pro-abortion Obama ads with clips showing the world how opposed Romney is to abortion and Planned Parenthood. Clearly the target audience is rich suburban women. Don’t know how effective the ads will be since the economy around here is in the toilet. I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned. I really think PA is going to be a nailbiter.
I dated a Hanna who liked to su...
No, another time.
What made Hanna so sucksque?
If Pennsylvania goes for Romney, then it is game over.
