This photograph is actually a video still captured from an Al Jazeera video of the amazing scene at the U.S. Benghazi Consulate compound sometime before 11:30 pm. Four additional captioned photos can be found at my Flickr page below.
This is the first in a series of photos I will be posting over the weekend along with some new video. In each instance it is my goal to present information that the U.S. news media has by and large failed to present to the American public. Most of the video and video still images were obtained from Middle Eastern sources.
I want to thank Congressman Issa for releasing the Benghazi compound photographs after the October 10th hearing
First photos of Americans abandoning Benghazi Consulate emerge
This very short clip is part of a longer story that does address the angry protestors. It is very important to note that the protestors did not show up until after 11:30 pm. The terrorists had already left the compound. The impending arrival of the protestors was a likely reason the Americans abandoned the compound. No one knew what the size of the protest would be but there was no doubt that the compound could not be protected from an angry mob!
I am running behind on my preparations for my next article. I beg everyone’s indulgence.
Still, he said, we have a very good relationship with the leaders of Benghazis largest militias which constitute the only security force for the government from their days fighting together on the front lines of the revolt against Colonel Qaddafi. He even pointedly named two senior leaders of those big brigades, whom he said he had seen outside the mission on the night of the attack.
"He also said that guards inside the compound Libyan or American, he was not sure had shot first at the demonstrators, provoking them. And he asserted, without providing evidence, that the attackers had found weapons, including explosives and guns mounted with silencers, inside the American compound. "
"But Mr. Abu Khattala insisted that he had not been part of the aggression at the American compound. He said he had arrived just as the gunfire was beginning to crackle and had sought to break up a traffic jam around the demonstration. After fleeing for a time, he said, he entered the compound at the end of the battle because he was asked to help try to rescue four Libyan guards working for the Americans who were trapped inside. Although the attackers had set fire to the main building, Mr. Abu Khattala said he had not noticed anything burning."

Days before the demonstrators forced Ansar al-Sharia from their Benghazi headquarters, Al Jazeera interviewed a senior member of the militia, and visited a hospital where it was, until Friday, providing security.
The spokesperson, who asked to be quoted by the pseudonym Abu Mohammed, said that the militia had nothing to do with the attack. Ansar al-Sharia was against the killings and looting of the consulate, he said, denying reports from witnesses that its members were photographed at the September 11 protest.

From timeline: Agents pile into an armored vehicle with Smiths body and leave through the main gate. They face immediate fire. Crowds and groups of men block two different routes to the security compound. Heavy traffic means they are traveling only about 15 mph and trying not to attract attention. On a narrow street they reach a group of men who signal for them to enter a compound. They sense an attack and speed away, taking heavy fire from AK-47 machine guns at a distance of only 2 feet and hand grenades thrown against and under the car. Two tires are blown out.
These guys controlled the hospital where Stevens was taken. Also, it seems they like to take their victims to the hospital. At least when they still controlled/HQ'd at the hospital.

"The next day, his body was found by Ziad's brother Mohammed at a hospital in Zintan. Photographs of his body "revealed welts and extensive bruising on the abdomen, lacerations on both legs, and a large wound on the sole of the left foot," HRW said. "Some of his toenails appear to have been removed."

What is interesting, is that part of the timeline given-- Agents pile into an armored vehicle with Smiths body and leave through the main gate. Is that the help that our people were sent by Obama? The group of militia signaling our guys into a trap?
Good work. A picture is indeed a thousand words!
Thanks go to you. Enjoy dinner!
Thanks for THAT link, penelopesire! HOORAY Walid Shoebat!
Nice to have talent.
What I want to know is, is the Secret Service agent that “killed himself” 5 days before the election the one who knew where 0bama was that night and when? Quite a coincidental suicide, huh?
Busy little bitch. Taint she. :)
[Nice to have talent.]
Thank you! Sometimes another has to take up the torch.....
Very Nice.
I trust Al Jazeera as much as I trust the New York Times... which is to say, not at all...
Thank you, as always.
We don’t have much to trust in anymore, do we friend? I think we need to rest our souls awhile, pray, let God help energize us again for what’s ahead - and stick together.
