WOW.... What can you say, besides wow...
People left suffering in the dark and cold, because the electricity crews can't help them, due to not meeting Democrat standards of political correctness.
Somebody should be mentioning this in a campaign speech, let alone being on Drudge!!
HOW FREAKIN INSANE IS THAT??

I was in New Orleans right after Katrina. In addition to working some of the most dangerous jobs they'd encounter in their careers, some of the out-of-state utility crews were being shot at by rioters.

Well, they elect the RATs who are in love with the unions. Like some here on FR are always saying with respect to California, New Jersey is a lot farther down the road and has been on it longer than has California, so let’s just “cut New Jersey loose” and make Pennsylvania the new East Coast. Oh but wait, PA is just like NJ! So just how far west do we need to go to get to a “good” state? Maybe things will be better if we go all the way to the Mississippi! At least that would get rid of that pesky union hideout called Ohio!

The stupid, it buuuuuuuurns.
If you are still without power in New Jersey, now you know part of the reason why. And the next time something hits New Jersey, people will be far less inclined to send help so New Jersians will get to huddle together in the dark slowly freezing to death just that much longer. Union membership and solidarity is more important than people’s lives, I guess.
I’ll guess this won’t be getting any national coverage...

I am damn proud to say that crews from Alabama got our electricity up and running after hurricane Gustav.
Those guys got all the cold soft drinks and cold water they needed from folks in the neighborhood with generators.
A great bunch of guys!!!
Up yours Jersey crooks!

Why is everyone surprised. The the same thing happned in the gulf during the BP spill and NON UNION help was told to keep away. Some of this help came from other countries with technology designed to do the job.

* The crews that are in Roanoke, Virginia say they are just watching and waiting even though they originally received a call asking for help from Seaside Heights,New Jersey.*
Those crews from Alabama should charge NJ for the cost of their trip. Especially since they were asked to come. What jerks.
Proud of my Bama boys.

Pure typical sick union mentality.
Just as they would rather see their company go out of business than yield one penny from their union contract, they would rather see people die than have a non-union person pick up a tool to help.

Those in the northeast have created a liberal-government-union-media framework that is now crumbling. I do not want my money going to support that framework or its people.

The Socialist Workers' Party (aka, Democrats and the Unions overall), do NOT allow anyone to take their overtime, no matter how desperate the people are for help.
This is a way of life with Progressives, Davis-Bacon, etc.
Why don't they bring busloads of Illegals in to help, picking up hot wires that are down?

Then they deserve to wait in long lines for their gas. Has anyone figured whether it takes more time to fill up when “full service” is required, rather than the customer filling his own can, or tank? IOW, could the lines move faster if each customer filled his own, rather than waiting for the service station employee to come over and fill the tank?

Union workers are scum. My inlaws are union people from Akron, OH. Even though they know that unions killed their city they still cling to unions. Morons on parade.
