CBS News has learned that during the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, the Obama Administration did not convene its top interagency counterterrorism resource: the Counterterrorism Security Group, (CSG).
"The CSG is the one group that's supposed to know what resources every agency has. They know of multiple options and have the ability to coordinate counterterrorism assets across all the agencies," a high-ranking government official told CBS News. "They were not allowed to do their job. They were not called upon."

Why convene the Counterterrorism Security Group for what we have all been assured was just an spontaneous, enthusiastically negative movie review?
“A White House official says President Obama immediately acknowledged the assault was a terrorist attack”
but they didn’t convene the CSG????
So was Obama just indecisive as usual
OR
Was Obama behind something nefarious that went wrong.
I vote for #2.
About time they got pissed and about time they remember their oaths to uphold the Constitution and Defend the Nation from all enemies Foreign and DOMESTIC.
Waiting to see what happens next. I’ll go out on a limb and predict that if the information does not come out correctly in the media it will come out by other means from the sources.
Whoever has leaked all along will be hunted down like an escaped prisoner from a Stalag if Obama wins.
These people should realize that.
They need to do a total data dump now to ensure an Obama loss. Otherwise, they’ll discover Chicagocide is as bad as Arkancide.
No one mentions that Zero and Clinton both went on TV over there repeatedly offering apologies for the video - on the taxpayers dime.

Fox reporting live now.
I think their paid TV ads might have caused the Pakistan riots. maybe. (23 dead)
BUMP
That is one of the really big questions
It should be Jennifer Griffin & Bret Baier of Fox being given the Pulitzer also, they have been all over this story from the beginning, they didn’t back down even when no one else would touch it. Jennifer broke the news on Fox tonight about the Counter-terrorism Team not being called in.I think the Intel community is going to dump on this admin before the election, seeing the writing on the wall, so to speak.
It is such a sad story, the US officials can say there was no delay but people on the ground in Bengazi say different, that Tyrone Woods was told twice to stand down when there was 20-30+ in the consulate under attack, so he disobeyed orders and went in and rescued them, then lost his life defending the annex when no one came to their aid.
This shows the administration’s incompetence and outright disregard for the lives of Americans, I think it was to coverup the shipment of arms to Syrian rebels. I’m confident we will know soon. More and more is coming out. Heads up for a document dump Friday.
You are right about Jennifer. Got the name wrong.
They simply can’t get their stories lined up, can they. It sounds like one after another of them gets tagged to be the fall guy...and at the last minute, thinks, oops, I don’t think I really like Obama thaaat much...
Could have sworn I posted a reply to this post....anyway...wordplay....it’s all about the worplay
“did not require such a meeting.”
Perhaps it’s just semantics, but there is a big difference between “not needed” and “stand down”. I think Obama has room to play here.
In fact, just saw tweet worded:
“US officials to @AP: No delays in rescue effort in Libya; team never told to stand down http://bit.ly/VGC0wZ"
Link to AP....THIS IS WHAT OBAMA’S GOING WITH:
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/us-officials-no-delays-rescue-effort-libya-0
“Rare MSM story on the subject.”
The author is Sharyl Attkisson. She was all over Fast and Furious too including videos, but I think the circulation was limited to the Internet, i.e. if you’re not looking for it, you probably won’t find it.
As I mentioned above...just tweeted through AP...seems THIS will be the official story:
US officials: No delays in rescue effort in Libya
