Tell them that his election in 2008 shows that American isn't racist. Then tell them that, even though you get an opportunity in America, that is no guarantee of success. You must work hard and give the public (whether clients, or customers, or voters) to keep your job and be successful. Obama's ideas didn't keep as many voters as happy as some other ideas might.

Or you can choose to teach them that America is racist, that they have no hope, and that they should be miserable, lazy, vindictive, and offended all their lives.

It's up to the parents to decide what kind of outlook to instill in their child. These are the primary options.
