Images have emerged on Chinese defence sites that appear to show a new Chinese fighter aircraft in flight.
The flight was said to be the first conducted by the aircraft that is now being commonly referred to as the Shenyang J-31. Previous reports have variously given the aircraft's designation as the J-21, J-31 or F-60.
Images for the aircraft first appeared in mid-September 2012 and were said to be taken at the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation airfield.

Looks strangely familiar....
Maybe because the ChiComms ripped 100% of the design off from the F-22.....and even listened in on weekly design meetings.
Bastards can’t design shit on their own......then claim their superiority.
I knew a guy who worked for Canon copiers who actually had a Japanese guy sit in his office for 6 months to watch what he did and how he did his job so they could emulate it in their companies. Yeah, they copy us a lot.
I wonder if they’ll have an OBOGs problem. LOL! Oh, that’s right, they now have the mod fix for that, too. I wonder if we’re building ANYTHING new with the ‘wrecking-ball-In-Chief’ at the helm.

I worked with a guy from Singapore who would always ask me how I fixed this problem or that problem and had to know EVERY little thing I did, how, why.. ARGHH!! They report back to the homeland, no matter how trivial. Industrial espionage is their business!
I always thought Bill Clinton’s worst crime was selling defense secrets to the Chinese for campaign contributions.
The amazing thing is he didn’t even try to conceal it other than not admitting that was what it was.
Was Wong Wei flying it?
I wonder how much of it was given by the Harlot known as Russia, and how much by our own corrupt, pimping, politicians for their re-elections.
Something tells me it won’t work quite the same.
Another victory for “free trade.”
Bingo.
The ChiComs were probably given a full set of design plans and schematics for a “price”...
The first picture (bottom perspective) looks like a F-35 but with twin-engines. The second picture (front perspective) looks like a F-22 but with the divertless supersonic inlets and front fuselage of the F-35.
The Chinese are great at reverse engineering, but when you are trying to copy high tech, it gets very complicated.
As an example look how they are doing with that piece of junk "air craft carrier" the bought from the Ukrainians.
They have been on sea trials for months and it still is not an operating part of their fleet.
