My first thought was that since it is a “powerful” Senator, that leaves out the GOP....lol. I don’t think “powerful” is something that comes to mind when you think of GOP Senators!

Wait—Joe Biden (he WAS a senator and is VERY powerful.) He doesn’t wear a ring—was that the hint with Obama’s ring picture? That would be a “big effin’ deal”!
If it is Brown, it will be a resume enhancement. He’s been bouncing around Ohio politics for almost 40 years. If anything, it will show Ohio that he does have a set of balls, which will probably surprise a lot of people.
Besides, I doubt having the scandal involving a down-ticket candidate helps either Mandell or Romney.
It’s got to be a high profile Dem who is considered an advisor to Obama. I like Schumer because he is such a sanctimonious SOB, but will it hurt “O”, I don’t think so.
Just have to wait and see.
