Bush-era FEMA Chairman Michael Brown is standing by his suggestion that President Barack Obama acted too soon to call attention to federal disaster response efforts to Hurricane Sandy.
In the context of the election, I simply said he should have waited, Brown told POLITICO Tuesday afternoon. The storm was still forming, people were debating whether it was going to be as bad as expected, or not, and I noted that the president should have let the governors and mayors deal with the storm until it got closer to hitting the coastal areas along the Washington, D.C.-New York City corridor.

Thought this was a satire for a moment ~ he actually recommended Obama come to town as the storm hit as some sort of grand entry by a demigod.
Oh please please please listen to me...I want to make amends for my last screw up in New Orleans...
What’s that you say. Cough, cough.
Obviously the O does not understand the pirnciples of
subsidiarity — let the smallest government take care of it if at all possible
or
solidarity — just plain common sense.
Paul Ryan campaigns on these two principles all the time. Go Paul Ryan!
The problem with Katrina and Bush is the same one Obama will have with Sandy. The government can just not help people fast enough. In three or four days we’ll be hearing stories about how this person never got rescued or this lady never got water. It’s inevitable. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s simply reality....a reality that the Dems used to their advantage in Katrina but, now the shoe is on the other foot and Obama will find out soon enough, too. He-he-he.....
There certainly is a lot of damage...but it's water and sand and debris...
The idea that 38 people died is disturbing though...WHY...They're fault for being stupid or ?????
The HMS Bounty....Why risk lives....If the Captain IS alive....he'll never show his face until he finds an attorney.
Are you talking about those two buffoons Nagin and Blanco or Soetoro's response to the BP spill?

heckuva comment, Brownie
Nah. In 3-4 days you’ll be hearing glowing sagas about how Ø’s supposedly swift and decisive action apparently saved the Eastern US seaboard from peril of apocalyptic death and destruction that was obviously certain to happen in lieu of his enlightened intervention.
Oh, and lots of contrasts to that evil guy GW Bush who was clearly content to let black people die in post-Katrina New Orleans.
LOL....
Except that if an anecdote reflects poorly on the Dear Leader, the MSM will simply refuse to air it.
The problem with Katrina was a dem governor not allowing FEMA into her state. FEMA was sitting on her border even before the storm hit.
Hey, don’t try to get between obama and an “I, I, me, I, I, my” opportunity.
You’ll get run over. Bad.
Guys,
I’ll ask it. Are we gonna fumble away what was certainly going to be an election victory because of this hurricane? Seriously, will Obaba really walk around in his suit, look concerned, and win it at the end by default? Is that really how the last four years of hard, determined, and passionate work ends for us? Let’s hear what you’re thinking....
I think you just answered your own question in your #6. Just saying...
