This is interesting, I do have a question about Creditors calling constantly concerning my nephew who lived with us over fifteen years ago, I tell them I don’t know where he is and to stop calling me but it continues.

Would this work the same for creditors, I just want them to stop.

He needs to send a cease and desist letter to the collection agency, telling them that the debtor does not live at the address, that the debt is past the statue of limitations, that the collection agency is in violation of the FCRA, and that any future calls will violate said FCRA.

Yes you can sue bill collectors but under a different set of laws the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
