Had to look up what "baroclinic" means.
Baroclinic - In fluid dynamics, the baroclinity (sometimes called baroclinicity) is a measure of the stratification in a fluid. A baroclinic atmosphere is one for which the density depends on both the temperature and the pressure; contrast this with barotropic atmosphere, for which the density depends only on the pressure. In atmospheric terms, the barotropic zones of the Earth are generally found in the central latitudes, or tropics, whereas the baroclinic areas are generally found in the mid-latitude/polar regions.
or
BAROCLINIC- Distinct air mass regions exist. Fronts separate warmer from colder air. In a synoptic scale baroclinic environment you will find the polar jet in the vicinity, troughs of low pressure (mid-latitude cyclones) and frontal boundaries. There are clear density gradients in a baroclinic environment caused by the fronts. Any time you are near a mid-latitude cyclone you are in a baroclinic environment. Part of the word baroclinic is clinic. If the atmosphere is out of balance, it is baroclinic, just as if a person felt out of balance they would need to go to a clinic.

I wouldn’t say your wrong. I’m not sure what real danger there was here though. Was it likely to come down? Maybe so.

The Battery is at 13.15 feet, well beyond worst case scenario.

That’s not good. That water must be causing damage to all the underground utilities.

A giant tree fell while I was stopped at a red light. Fortunately the wind was blowing the right way and it fell opposite of us! And we’re in Michigan!!

In 2004, I stepped outside of a construction trailer wearing a heavy hard hat in 70 MPH winds.
In about 5 seconds it blew of my head and was about 3 blocks away.
I jumped into my Suburban and caught it about half mile away.
