Shes protesting banks but still getting a bailout.
The Florida housewife who abandoned her family to join Occupy Wall Street is divorcing, giving up custody of her four kids and taking a big payout from her husband.
Professional protester Stacey Hessler is legally splitting from her hubby, Curtiss, but not before waltzing off with a portfolio that includes cash and his 401(k) retirement fund, filled with stocks and other instruments of American capitalism.
The divorce settlement, filed Oct. 16, awards Occu-Mom the $79,585 fund and a $5,800 bank account. Her total take: $85,385.

Sounds like something written by an Obama script writer.
Dreadlocks on black people=not a whole lot better, really.
Very poor judgement. Bipolar untreated?
Or extreme narcisism.
For 85K I would have had her sign over parental rights.
If you have more money than character, the money will destroy you. If you have more character than money, you will get more money.
I second the notion that the money will destroy her.
They actually sell products to make your hair look like that. The dreads can be washed w/o *ruining the look* and may actually help w/that.
OTOH, there is a “No ‘poo” (as in *shampoo* movement out there that has websites detailing complex applications w/which to wash hair w/o the dreaded *sulphates*. Ask not; I don’t know what that means.
My beautician has stories of women like this coming in after a year or more of this nonsense. They have lice and the odor is pretty bad, as well. Sometimes the hair has to cut above the dreads because the hair involved is so damaged.
Yeah, I'd consider paying $85K to convince her to GTFO. It'd cost me half that just to delouse the place....
OK now. i use no-poo shampoo and I don’t have dreads. I do have fine curly hair and no-poo keeps it from frizzing.
The Poor husband. The rest of the world now knows he married a psycho. Gee, the poor kids! They probably fear a psychotic episode in their futures.
I’m (not) proud to say I’ve been married five times and divorced four times (first wife got killed) and never paid a dime for alimony (no children). The third one was asked by the judge “ Don’t you want ANYTHING from him?” She said “YES, I want him the F...Ck out of my life!” The other two were more in less in agreement with her. Hey! I like to fish!
Shampoo w/argan oil and a flat iron work, as well, even in high humidity. Doesn’t weigh anything down, leave a residue or split ends, either.
I just don’t get the “no ‘poo” idea. My hair is healthy and undamaged and I just use specific shampoo/conditioner for whatever effect I want, smooth, curly, volume, et al. What is wrong with washing your hair w/shampoo? I’ve read thru those sites and it seems more complicated and time consuming than the normal routine. They all go on about *sulphates*. Basically, that is sodium laurel sulphate, which is........soap.
“No-poo” is actually shampoo. I do wash my hair, several times a week. Just wanted to clarify. LOL
