Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were in Benghazi as part of a security contractor force.
On September 11, they were ensconced in the safety of an annex location in another part of the city when they got word that the main consulate building was under fire and the diplomats there -- with an armed force of only nine people -- were overwhelmed by the deteriorating situation.
Doherty and Woods, along with other security personnel, left the secure annex and made their way to the chaotic scene, rounding up the consulate staff who were under attack and guiding them back to the second safe building.
It has been reported that as many as 30 personnel were rescued and escorted back to the CIA safe house.
SO WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE INDIVIDUALS?
They are ALL witnesses to what happened at both locations.
Are they being held incommunicado somewhere, like at a military installation in Europe?
Have they all been threatened and told not to speak to anyone....including their families?
Why is NO ONE even mentioned them or made the least effort to contact them???
Unbelievable that not ONE would have said anything to anyone and word of what happened would not have leaked out by now....unless someone put the fear of God in all of them.

Excellent question! That has always puzzled me, too. Supposedly, when help did arrive, they actually hadn’t even sent enough vehicles to evacuate the large number of people there (some 37 people, IIRC).

Panetta is doing what he is supposed to do, what they train you for in Military academy. You fall in your sword if dear leaders asks you. My brother wrote a paper on it at the Naval Academy. It doesnt matter whether you agree with what leadership asks, a good solider follows orders.
Panetta was following orders from the Top. We all know Obama is a micromanager and he will pull the trigger on any operation anywhere that directly benefits himself and his image. That is why he had no issue going forth with the mission to kill Bin Laden, a mission that was both dangerous and possibly illegal. In Libya, it was a total loss whether they lived or died so they rather let them die and spin a story. Without a direct political benefit, Obama simply ignored it and went back on the campaign trail. Sending a rescue team was an admission of guilt on what was really going on there and diplomacy was not the real mission.

These were our folks and we’re going to find out exactly what happened, but what we’re also going to do it make sure that we are identifying those who carried out these terrible attacks.”First of all this is the first time I have heard Zippo saying this. Second, everything he says after the first directive is in past tense. He is cornered and has no telepromter. I believe he was AWAL after the 6PM email that stated that the attack had stopped and the consulate cleared.
I say this for two reasons. At 10:00PM Hillary released a press statement that reads;
I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack.In her statement she mentions speaking with President Magariaf no doubt asking him for military support because POTUS was AWAL and she could not order Military action. It is being reported today on Fox that the request for help at the annex was denied because the station chief was waiting for Lybian help that of course never came.This evening, I called Libyan President Magariaf to coordinate additional support to protect Americans in Libya. President Magariaf expressed his condemnation and condolences and pledged his government’s full cooperation.
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.
In light of the events of today, the United States government is working with partner countries around the world to protect our personnel, our missions, and American citizens worldwide.
Here's how a leader keeps it from happening again: while the attack is in progress, flatten everything within a couple blocks of the embassy and kill anything that moves in that zone.
I guaran-damn-tee you that no one anywhere will be eager to be in the van of any future attack on US embassies or territory.
Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice.

A GREAT soldier upholds his Oath to protect and defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.
I'd like to think Panetta is smart enough to know the Nuremberg defense, "I vas ust followink orders" still doesn't cut it.
ISSA, et al, should issue some kind of Protection Order for all of them that will come forth. Protection from prosecution or whatever it takes to get to the bottom of this.
Better that Panetta and others go the way of Benedict Arnold and be isolated to wherever, there to be forgotten & shunned by all, than to be a participant in the total destruction of America.
