Unfolding Libyan scandal could sink Obama and end Hillarys political career

As more information comes out on the murder of our Libyan Ambassador and 3 other Americans during the assault in Benghazi . the more incriminating it gets for the higher ups in Washington DC.
**SNIP**
The latest bombshell now shows the attack was a 7 hour ordeal. There was plenty of time to send help to the besieged Americans. Repeated pleas for help from those on the scene were denied by those higher up.
At one point during the battle a CIA operative pinpointed the mortar team which was bombarding the complex. He radioed for fire support from a Specter gunship, commonly used by U.S. Special Ops to provide support to teams on the ground. Even though an American airbase was only an hour away, no gunships arrived.
Further, Fox News learned, no Tier One Special operations forces, among them Delta Force operators, showed up to help, which were also within range and able to help if authorized.

Barack “stand down” Obama, the hero of Benghazi
Hehehe...Maybe it won’t be much help. It’s already weakened a bit! However, it could be quite a storm, who knows?
“would have likely made the administration look good”
Yeah, but I guess they just can’t wrap their heads around “boots on the ground” looking good. Too many shots over the past ten years of guys with big guns looming over crying Iraqi children, maybe.
The possibility that it was primarily a CIA operation has crossed my mind also although it must have been operating with a front (quasi-consulate).
A truly extraordinary twofer!
I think this is a whole different animal if there really was no "consulate" in Benghazi. Just a "quasi-consulate".
The hag stood there and blamed the video while the remains of those heros were wheeled out at Andrews.
There’s a special corner in hell for trash like that.
If Congress won’t act on this Treason, then we need to nut up and march on Washington.
I’m not in any way kidding...

Check the keyword for Benghazi....absolute torrents of articles and statements.
Saw an abbreviated Brett Baer Special Report on the Benghazi coverup ,...attack this morning.
Expect more to be shown tonight and Sunday ...believe at 10 pm EST.
The CIA facility was near it, but this was a consular office that didn’t have a consul named to it (because of all the turmoil in Libya) and was visited by the Ambassador when it was necessary to transact business there, attend an event, etc. I’ve never been clear on whether he made it to the CIA facility and was killed there, or whether he died in some supposed safe room at the consulate.
No consul named. What is the purpose of a consulate? As I understand it a consulate looks after US citizens in its area, issues visas and acts as the eyes and ears of the US government. There was no consul running things. There were not many US citizens in Benghazi to look after who were not CIA or CIA contract employees. Do you really want a consulate in Benghazi issuing visitors visas?
Was there a legitimate reason for a "consulate" in Benghazi?
True. But it also would have left a TON of EVIDENCE, and Obama/Jarrett can't have that right now.
But... he does understand "dead men tell no tales".
So other than that, Mr. Ceausescu, how did your career turn out?
Consulate or “mission,” there’s the rub. It appears the “consulate” might not have been an officially listed diplo facility.
So the “sovereign territory” rules (FWIW) might not have been applicable. Technically.
did you see this?

How does this sound? AQ was looking for a quick, easy victory. Two CIA outposts in Indian territory were ripe for the picking because of poor security, isolation, and no heavy weapons. 9/11 was a perfect day to strike. The dead ambassador was collateral damage.
Legitimate depends on your definition. We had a legitimate reason (protection) to have this consular office there. I’m sure you could have gotten a visa there had you turned up during office hours and applied, but that wasn’t its main purpose.
The consulate was clearly sort of a “back room” for the embassy. The papers were there and it seems that a lot of meetings took place there. Probably the diplomats assumed that the embassy was more likely to be under attack and had less protection, so they moved sensitive things to the consulate and made regular visits to it (Stevens was in Benghazi to dedicate a cultural center) to make sure it was perceived as part of the loop and thereby protected by the US.
Don’t forget that the jihadis were searching for papers after the attack, which is when they found Stevens’ body, because they knew that this was the purpose of the place.
However, does this mean it should have been allowed to be overrun by AQ? Does this mean the US has no obligation to support the people there, just because their main job is not issuing visas?
I don’t understand what you’re getting at. Do you think this made it OK for Obama to allow the Ambassador, the consulate building and its defenders to be taken out?
