RICHMOND, Va. Four years ago, there were doubts, then hope, then worry, work and elation. Today, as African American voters look at electing the first black president to a second term, there is support tinged with disappointment and defensiveness.
There are worries about President Obama's support for gay marriage, worries about the economy and worries about life under a Mitt Romney administration. There are fewer thoughts about making historic strides and quieter worries about history slipping away.

Romney/Ryan Landslide 2012.
He didn’t give them enough free hand outs from the Obama stash. Oh well.
Na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye Obama
Oh Please, he’ll get 99.9% of the black vote and the Gay vote, and 75% of the Jewish vote!! i THINK he won’t get the majority of the Catholic vote though!! PRAYERS!!
Obama failed. Get over it.
Romney/Ryan Landslide 2012.
It won't matter if they all turn out.
What's not politically correct to point out is that Obama is getting only 40% of the white vote.
Every black person in this country could vote for O and he would still lose.
Such are the straws the Los Angeles Times out of sheer desperation, clutches at this year. The Race Card TM has worn out its usefulness.
What is it called when a candidate focuses on getting votes based on skin color?
That depends on the skin color.
Romney/Ryan Landslide 2012
January 20, 2013:
Any Black American that votes for Barack Hussein “Muslim Brotherhood Adoree” Obama” Is either insane, on drugs, smokin’ pot, drinkin’ too much Kool-Aid...or, is just plain, not the sharpest knife in the drawer!!! And.....my Black friends, if you should need reasons for not supporting “Traitor” Obama, you really have problems!!! You’ll be adrift at sea for the next hundred years!!! Obama has thrown you guys under the bus!!! Sad!!!
I want to live in an America that truly does judge on the basis of character, not skin color, or gender, or political affiliation. Unfortunately, the survival of the democrats totally depends on perpetuating divisions based on all of those. It is way past time for more black Americans to climb the socioeconomic ladder and partake of all the good that self determinism in America can engender. Getting away from the race mongering dependence encouraging democrats and liberals will be the best thing that happens to black America.
Probably nothing will matter in california, but turnout will be critical in states which are contested. Black turnout (and vote percentage btw) were at historic highs in 2008. Nothing like that happening this year. States like Ohio may swing on the black turnout.
That’s a very offensive post. It’s exactly the kind of thing our enemies love to find on Free Republic. Ask the mods to take it down.

This is too funny. . . love it. And, I hope they have a safe departure. Bon Voyage!
I disagree with some of the remarks here. I think a very large number of Jews and blacks have wised up regarding Obama’s incompetence and destruction and will not be voting for Obummer again. They may not vote for Romney, but they won’t be voting for zero again. I think Obama will lose at least 20% of the black votes he got in 2008 and lose an even greater percentage of Jewish votes.
Is that an order?
