Why is Mitt Romney rising? Americans who watched the GOP nominee debate President Obama never met the cold, greedy, sexist, racist, carcinogenic tax cheat that Team Obama promised would appear. The calm, steady, and reasonable gentleman who opposed Obama was no Gordon Gekko.
Americans might like Romney even more if they understood his random acts of kindness and significant feats of bravery. As Mara Gay, Dan Hirschhorn, and M. L. Nestel wrote for TheDaily.com: A man weighed down by the image of a heartless corporate raider who cant relate to people actually has a history of doing remarkably kind things for those in need.

Here is another GREAT article with video talking about Romney’s hidden good deeds: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/the-real-mitt-romney-beck-interviews-people-whose-lives-have-been-touched-by-the-gop-candidate/
A home once burst into flames near Romneys residence. Kranish and Helman report that Romney organized the gathered neighbors, and they began dashing into the house to rescue what they could: a desk, couches, books until fire fighters arrived.
The Romneys were vacationing in New Hampshire in 2003 when screams shook the Independence Day air. Some 900 feet from them, New Jerseys Morrisey family and their leaky boat were sinking into Lake Winnipesaukee.
Romneys sons Craig and Josh sped into the lake on a Jet Ski. We tore out of there, and my dad hopped on the other Jet Ski and came out right after us, Josh Romney told the Boston Herald. They found three men and three women bobbing in the water in barely buckled life vests. Massachusettss then-governor pulled the two younger women onto his three-seat Jet Ski, while his sons assisted their mother. They then whisked these women safely to shore, along with McKenzie, their Scottish Terrier. Meanwhile, the three men treaded water under the sons watchful eyes until Mitt made two more trips to rush them to dry land.
Previously, while spearheading the 2002 Olympics, Romney and his sons used a boat to rescue several kayakers as high winds slammed them onto rocks...
The article's author may be lying, but at least let's stipulate that I didn't make it up.
If you know better, then prove it.
As far as his religion is concerned, it's his business; not yours and certainly not mine.
Anything connected with this effort to turn Mitt into a hero, is exaggerated, like that lake story.
I did make a mistake on the fire though, instead of them helping remove belongings, I was thinking of the pretty much phony story of helping someone after the San Diego fires in 2007, it was turned into quite a tale, but in reality it was the Romneys who set it up after the home owner was already caught up with his work, (the homeowner was Mormon also, and a friend).
Amazing link, thank you! Those videos are outstanding....
This article is called “The Decency of Mitt” and your posts should be called “The Indecency of Ansel12”.
Members here have on numberous occasions proven to you that the Romneys also go out of their way helping non-Mormons. Yet you constantly show up on these threads repeating your knowingly false accusations that they only help Mormons.
Who is it you are campaigning here for again, Virgil Goode? Do you really think you reflect well on him using those tactics?
Actually, you get on every thread you can and start screaming that members are lying when they post something that challenges your attempted deification of Romney.
Your standard tactic is to simply launch into a personal attack.
I have corrected many, many falsehoods about the man.
Bishop Romney is in the process of being a God according to his religious teachings, he does many works for fellow Mormons, both as their leader, and as works to attain the status of God when he becomes the deity of his own planet as our God is to us.
It was an extremely rare occurrence in Mitt’s 65 years, in which he did anything for a non-Mormon, whereas most of us do our good deeds with no thought to people’s race or religion, or anything else, other than their need, and our opportunity to help.
1. you post on these threads that Romney only helps Mormons
2. members reply with cases where Romney helped non-Mormons
3. you attack and ignore the content of their replies
4. you find a new thread and state Romney only helps Mormons
rinse-repeat-rinse-repeat-rinse-repeat...
I would be humiliated to be caught lying like that and I can’t understand why this doesn’t seem uncomfortable for you :-(
Why not just read my post rather than lie about it?
It is a truly rare occurrence when the good deed involved is not a part of his cult membership, in fact very rare for a 65 year old man.
“”Bishop Romney is in the process of being a God according to his religious teachings, he does many works for fellow Mormons, both as their leader, and as works to attain the status of God when he becomes the deity of his own planet as our God is to us.

Yeah, knew it all along but felt it needed to be said for the benefit of everyone else.
And, as I have posted to you in the past, there is no reference in the story of him saving the family of the sinking boat that he demanded ID or religious affiliation from them first.
If you had any honor or dignity, you would be too ashamed to keep up these antics.
Yes
Romney never ‘saved’ a family in a lake.
That is one of the bizarre exaggerations, on a play lake surrounded by houses, including the Mitt home, where everybody falls in the water and off of water toys all day long, a family’s boat sank.
It was Saturday and getting dark, the water was 75 degrees, boats were everywhere, they had their life jackets on and Mitt and the boys cruised over on their jet skis, and with other boaters went over to pick them up, it was not an heroic rescue of drowning people, alone, and in dangerous waters, in fact they wanted out of the water because of all the boats and jet skis and getting dark, they didn’t want people running over them while they swam 1 or 2 hundred yards to the shore.
If you have ever lived on water that was a play ground for lake homes and Saturday water activities , then you know that this was nothing, but Mitt was Governor so letting swimmers onto his 3 man jet ski, made the news. They probably weren’t Mormon, and this was just spontaneous lake stuff, not planned.
No you haven’t, and you could ping me when attacking me.

Sorry Ansel. I wasn’t attacking you. If I intended to “attack you”, I would have attacked you.
I simply advised another poster that he could use his valuable time for more constructive activites.
I will be sure to include you in all future postings that directly, indirectly or might even have a remote chance of stating the obvious to another Poster you interact with.

Now that I had a little fun, you have my sincere apology. I will be sure to ping you in the future. I’m not into participating in flame wars here.
My focus is on getting rid of the Traitorous Marxist Bastard occupying the White House. I hope we can agree on that point.
(stormhill, I forgot to ping you as well)

At least when you are posting about me, which is what you were doing.
Ansel, I apologized and said I would post to you in the future. Move on my FRiend. We have bigger fish to fry.
