What absolutely breaks my heart the most is that the trust these men had in their country...the faith they were trained to know and believe in, was completely shattered before they died. As a troop, as a soldier, as anyone put in harms way, you are always comforted by that fact that when SHTF there are people who will come to the rescue.

Death was not instant in this case....they fought hard...fought long enough to be rescued...and it NEVER EFFIN' CAME....

At some point before they died for their country, their mission, regardless of whther they were former military and contract personel or not, they had to realize their country was not coming to save them.
