Couldn’t they have written their editorial without the obligatory “It’s a big deal decision between two honorable men with starkly different roadmaps”?!
I’m tired of “he’s a good guy’, “he’s an honorable guy”, “he means well” BS!

Im tired of hes a good guy, hes an honorable guy, he means well BS! No pleasing you is there? One of the two major newspapers in one of the most liberal large cities ( which is in one of the most liberal states) in America endorses a Republican candidate and you nitpick?

I’m assuming the Detroit News is like the Washington Times and the Boston Herald.

This story conjures up an image of a pile of ruble hoisting a surrender flag. ;-)

As am I, but you have to remember their audience. You can't dis BO with this crowd.
When I talk to BO leaners or supporters, I simply say "He has a nice family. But he's accomplished as much good as he can. It is time to take Clint Eastwood's advice and get someone who can move the country closer to the center and encourage more wagon pullers to help those who really need to be wagon riders."
Yeah, I have to shower after saying it, but it does a lot more to win them over than telling the unvarnished truth.

...gee whiz, I guess not. If they could tell me in what way Obama has ever shown a shred of “honor” it would be helpful and I would “nitpik” less.

You would be correct. They’re a conservative paper that almost always endorses Republican candidates.

The Detroit Free press has now turned on the unions. Now, that is a shock. The Free Press makes MSNBC seem centric by comparison.
