Couldn’t they have written their editorial without the obligatory “It’s a big deal decision between two honorable men with starkly different roadmaps”?!
I’m tired of “he’s a good guy’, “he’s an honorable guy”, “he means well” BS!
No pleasing you is there? One of the two major newspapers in one of the most liberal large cities ( which is in one of the most liberal states) in America endorses a Republican candidate and you nitpick?
When I talk to BO leaners or supporters, I simply say "He has a nice family. But he's accomplished as much good as he can. It is time to take Clint Eastwood's advice and get someone who can move the country closer to the center and encourage more wagon pullers to help those who really need to be wagon riders."
Yeah, I have to shower after saying it, but it does a lot more to win them over than telling the unvarnished truth.
Well, if they apply that description to Obama, I agree with you completely. Alinskyites are not honorable people!!! The fact that someone with such a radical background - who is quite possibly not even an American citizen - can become President of the United States was indicative of the stupidity of the general electorate as of 2008. Let's hope and pray that experience has taught enough voters a lesson so that history doesn't repeat in the next two weeks.
