Ive been told that when Saturday Night Live lampoons you, youve finally made it. Or, maybe thats just what helps me sleep at night, as the recent victim/beneficiary of an SNL parody.
The other possibility is that youre so ripe for mockery, and your mere existence is so absurd, SNL can ignore you no longer.
Undecided voters, Im talking to you.
The SNL parody of so-called undecideds has characters saying things like: Before you get our vote, youre going to have to answer some questions. Questions like, When is the election? When do we have to decide? What are the names of the two people running? And, be specific. Thats how ridiculous it feels for the rest of us who made up our minds back in June, if not earlier: These guys either havent been paying attention or arent being entirely honest.
The idea that anyones vote is still up for grabs with two weeks left in the election is so silly its spawned headlines like Slates Dear Undecided Voter: Do You Exist? and NPRs The Undecided Voter: Just Like the Unicorn?
How could anyone still have questions? After all, the candidates have been stalking us for what seems like an eternity. One has been President for four years and the others been trying to be for six. In all honesty, I know Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, their running mates and their families better than I know some of my own relatives. Indeed, with the barrage of ads, interviews, debates, late-night appearances, morning shows and news conferences, it seems impossible that anyone could still be legitimately unsure.
But dont tell that to the candidates, who sure are acting like the undecideds are real.

Who will they break for? THAT Is the big question.
What does history tell us?
I miss S.E. Why isn’t she on FNC any more?
Wait! We still need to hear what Gloria Alred has to say.
I saw an old woman with dyed hair and lots of makeup digging in a dumpster tonight while on my way home from work. It might have been Allred.
Honestly, if someone doesn’t know by now they either live in a cave or they’re too ignorant to vote.
That's the key right there.
We might be better off if there were more people refusing to participate in the polling frenzy that precedes all of our elections. A majority of undecided (undeclared)voters might keep the candidates on their toes and make for a more interesting election.
What is the benefit of all these poll results being hashed and rehashed by hyperventilating, self satisfied, know it all pundits?
Undecided voters = people who will not vote.
Not on the land line or my cell.
I think many are like this now, therefore there is no way for any of these pollster to get true results. No Way.
I was thinking along the same lines.
Most of the “undecideds” are lifelong, ideological and worlview liberals,
but they’re seeing a disconnect between their envisioned utopia and what happened when it was actually implemented.
They don’t want to think of themselves as “racist” for voting against the “black guy”, but they certainly don’t want him to continue what he’s doing.
