Monmouth University National Poll: R48/O45 (D+4)
Monmouth University ^ | 10/22 | Monmouth University

The latest Monmouth University Poll of voters nationwide shows Mitt Romney holding on to a three point lead over Barack Obama in next month’s presidential race. The GOP challenger continued to make gains in every issue area after the second debate.

Currently, Gov. Romney leads the incumbent by 48% to 45% among likely American voters. Following the first debate earlier this month, Romney held a one point lead. The current results mark a reversal from Monmouth’s mid-September poll when Pres. Obama held a 48% to 45% advantage in vote intention. Currently, 3% of likely voters say they will vote for another candidate and 5% are still undecided about their choice – results which have held steady since June.

About 12% of the poll’s likely voter sample reports they have already cast their presidential ballot in early voting. Among this group, Romney got 44% of the vote to 41% for Obama – an edge which is within the margin of error for this sub-group.

That’s your Election 2012 stat right there.

No way O can win being under water with independents - he’s behind with white men and behind with married women.

As I said last week, this election is over. That’s why I called OH for Mitt Happens and early calls can be a disaster but with those internals, I’m pretty confident he’ll win the election next month.

Not saying I believe it but if O is down 19 points among independents, his loss will be bigger than Carter’s.

So 15% of early voters voted for Other? That seems unlikely.

So what did they tell the pollster? They forgot who they voted for? They already voted so they can’t be undecided.

Parallels Gallup without the +4 Dem bullshit.

Talked with my daughter and her husband this weekend. Both voted for O in 2008. This year? Can't stand O anymore but refuse to vote for Romney. Their choice? They are writing-in Hillary. LOL!

Been saying for months, I’s will break 3-2 and probably closer to 2 to 1 for Romney.. This election was NEVER something Obama had a prayer of winning.

Obama can’t run on his record, so all he has is attack Romney, and try to portray him as more dangerous than 4 more years of Obama, and that’s just not doable.

Electorate wrote off Obama long ago, they just needed to know the person they had a chance to replace him with wasn’t going to be a bigger problem.

Once they knew Romney was okay, it was over.

They refused to answer the “Who” after confirming that they voted, because they did not want to admit they voted against the One.

.

- Tell your daughter you have an appointment with your attorney this week.....

- Something about your IRA

- I wonder how they like Obama’s ideas on investment taxes and inheritance taxes

That's why they shot their wad all summer trying to destroy Romney.
