I haven’t even posted 1/3 of the lefty organizations.

What, they haven't paid you yet? I'm sure the check is in the mail. Go ahead and post them.

Here is a new lefty group for you, one of the most leftists groups in California, proudly endorsing Prop 37...joining you, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters and all the other leftists, you should be as proud of yourselves as they are...I am sure with California being so far to the left, this should pass, so you should be very happy.

LA City Council Unanimously Endorses Yes on 37

For Immediate Release: October 24, 2012

Los Angeles — As supporters rallied in front of Los Angeles City Hall today, the Los Angeles City Council unanimously passed a resolution supporting Proposition 37, the Right to Know ballot measure that would label genetically engineered foods in California. California would join 61 other countries that already label genetically engineered foods, and Prop 37 would also prohibit such foods from being marketed as “natural.”

“It’s not often that the LA City Council votes unanimously to support a measure, but Prop 37 was a no-brainer. We have the right to know what’s in the food we’re eating and feeding our families,” said Councilmember Paul Koretz, the resolution’s author. “I’m proud to be a part of this true grassroots campaign in our struggle against the biggest pesticide and junk food companies in the world.”

The Los Angeles City Council joins the California Democratic Party, Senator Barbara Boxer, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Congressmen Brad Sherman and Howard Berman, and dozens of other California city and town councils, elected officials and candidates in endorsing Prop 37.

Prop 37 is a definite no for me. Written by trial lawyer who is notorious for suing small business under ADA... backed and most likely funded by left wing wackos. Surprised to see conservatives supporting nanny state regulations that will only serve to destroy what is left of family farms here in California.

You are NO conservative if you can support this claptrap. Read it... look at who is behind it... radical left wingers like organicconsumers.org. Do a whois on the website and you will see that the owner is a former 60’s radical that lives in Mexico. My husband said this law will allow small food producers/growers to be easily sued with “shake down” lawsuits...enriches trial lawyers and others who basically threaten to sue to get a pay off! How many farms does this guy own in Mexico. Imported produce only has to “promise” they meet standards. Only one’s with oversight are California growers. http://organicconsumersfund.org/label/prop-37-funders.cfm

You must have stayed home from church today, so you could stay on line and post marxist names for the internet spiders to count. Maybe you should spend the Sabbath celebrating life with real human beings. It may help you become a better person.

I do and nanny state initiatives like this will take away choices, destroy small family farms and give that power over to the state. You are no conservative.

You are lying to hide the truth here. Stop masking your liberal views on this subject by lying about others who are unmasking the truth on this badly written initiative.

Ronnie Cummins is the man behind organicconsumers.org, a major promoter and supporter of Prop. 37. Have a look at his bio - here:

http://activistcash.com/biography.cfm/b/1431-ronnie-cummins

"Ronnie Cummins of the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) has spent a lifetime as a professional activist. Since getting his start in anti-war activism in 1967, he has dabbled in the “human rights, anti-nuclear, labor, consumer, and sustainable agriculture” movements. From 1992 to 1998 he served as a campaign consultant and director for anti-technology zealot Jeremy Rifkin’s Foundation on Economic Trends. Cummins spent the 1990s leading food-scare efforts of national and international scope, including Rifkin’s “Beyond Beef” campaign, the “Pure Food” campaign (which later became the OCA), and the “Global Days of Action Against Genetic Engineering.” At the height of the American mad-cow food scare, Cummins insisted (with no evidence to support his warning) that “we may already have an epidemic in the United States.” In 1998 Cummins told the Minneapolis City Pages that “Consumers and farmers would both be better off if people paid twice as much for their meat and ate half as much.” And despite the promise of important biotech advances to the world’s food supply, Cummins promised a San Diego Union Tribune reporter that “it’s not going to be that long before we’ll have the same movement around industrial agriculture and genetic engineering that we had around nuclear power.”

Thanks very much for this and especially about Ronnie Cummins, you have to wonder about how these so-called FReepers got into association with these far-left types. I think a number of them are the Greenpeace types that registered and then periodically do the postings.

Really? Do you really get to choose not to ingest brazil nut genes in your soybeans?

How would you avoid that if you were allergic to brazil nuts? Its not like you could read the label. How would you know?

The choice that is being removed is the ability to choose between GMO and non-GMO. That is a choice that will not exist if you have your totalitarian way.

You use lies, inuendo, missasociation, and anything else you can, to try to discredit all the people that are working to pass prop 37, which is potentially the salvation of agriculture in California first, and then the world.

That is what is at stake; agriculture is on the brink, and if we fail to stop GMO franken crops people will definitely starve, and die of hideous diseases in the near future.

Somebody owns you, and that somebody is the personification of Satan.

Small family farms are exactly what are being destroyed by Monsanto, and GMO crops.

But your health is next; who will you blame it on?

So you declare that projecting, slander by false association and other Alinsky tactics by aussiebabe are the ‘truth’? Those aren’t conservative values being posted by that person.

And why the promotion of marxism by those posts. Who needs to have those organizations listed over and over again? They clearly benefit from the publicity, and whatever their views are, they have no bearing on the discussion of the rights of individuals to control their own bodies. They do act as a means to stifle free speech.

That also, is not a conservative value. It makes me think very little of you.

You are making false associations, and slandering by inference.

Your posts have no value except to the organizations who benefit from the publicity you give them.

Pity they are all marxist groups.

You are twisting the truth, you seem to be an expert at Alinsky. Wise Freepers can see it.
