The Mail on Sunday today reveals shocking new evidence of the full horrific impact of US drone attacks in Pakistan.
A damning dossier assembled from exhaustive research into the strikes targets sets out in heartbreaking detail the deaths of teachers, students and Pakistani policemen. It also describes how bereaved relatives are forced to gather their loved ones dismembered body parts in the aftermath of strikes.
The dossier has been assembled by human rights lawyer Shahzad Akbar, who works for Pakistans Foundation for Fundamental Rights and the British human rights charity Reprieve.
Filed in two separate court cases, it is set to trigger a formal murder investigation by police into the roles of two US officials said to have ordered the strikes. They are Jonathan Banks, former head of the Central Intelligence Agencys Islamabad station, and John A. Rizzo, the CIAs former chief lawyer. Mr Akbar and his staff have already gathered further testimony which has yet to be filed....
In the first case, which has already been heard by a court in Islamabad, judgment is expected imminently. If the judge grants Mr Akbars petition, an international arrest warrant will be issued via Interpol against the two Americans.

No they can't. They have no powers of arrest, not even in France where they are headquartered. They are an administrative and criminal intelligence service only.
What does the murder of non-combatants have to do with freedom and liberty?
It’s going to take more that the word of America hating pakistani muslims to convince me.
Shazad Akbar works for the UK “legal charity” Reprieve.
Reprieve’s legal director was or is Clive Stafford-Smith, who has been one of the folks pushing for the release of terrorists from Gitmo, who as we know tend to go back to committing the same acts of terror once they are released as they did before capture, even up to the present day Benghazi case. maybe old Clive is the one who procured the release of the fellow who led the attack on our mission.
Clive Stafford-Smith is a recipient of funding from George Soros. Clive was involved in the “secret prisons” campaign to defend KSM and others.
George Soros is one of the big financiers of the radical Democrats. George Soros had the time of his life helping violate the human rights of other people.
Yeah, unfortunately against those given by his administration, I do.
See post #41.
AKA the Taliban .... Get back to us, guys, when you've found the head of Daniel Pearl. Until then, go stuff yourselves.
And that includes you officious blue-helmet wankers.
What do you mean? You don't think seriously that Interpol is going to pinch a couple of guys carrying diplomatic passports and then "accidentally" let a Pakistani mob get to them and slaughter them in the street like the Libyans did?
Because that would be the most likely outcome of an arrest and incarceration in a crackerbox Paki jail.
That could make Islamabad suddenly disappear.
Any warrant that would ensue would be issued and executed locally, => prompt lynching and dismemberment.
I'm not a lawyer but I dimly remember reading somewhere that for a person to be extradited under treaty their action has to be a crime in the country they are being extradited from as well as the country they are being extradited to. Draft dodgers were not extradited from Canada during the Vietnam war because there was no draft in Canada so no such crime as draft dodging. Obama's Justice Department would have a hard time agreeing that what these men did was a crime in order to extradite them to Pakistan. Not that they might not want to try but it might be an insurmountable barrier, even for them.
Barky would love to surrender some USG officers to international cops for trial in The Hague. Just love it. It's what he's all about -- arrogant Americans fall for 30 years on multiple counts of "American arrogance", "hegemonism", and what have you got? We'd have to consult with the nasty little Red dweebs at the National (Communist) Lawyers' Guild to get all the language.
That's his style, all right.
