Many of we conservatives pitched-in from afar, and sacrificed what we could, to ensure that Scott Walker prevailed in the re-call election in Wisconsin.
What is Scott Walker doing in the Presidential election to return the favor and deliver Wisconsin for Romney?
His job starts when the polls close.
What is Ohio Governor John Kasich doing? All statewide elected officials in Ohio are Rs’ and also both houses of General Assembly. I sse not one stitch of support on their part to help Romney (except Sen Portman).
I’m a bit jaded so I suspect they held out for “what are you going to do for me” crap.
Only recently elected Senator Rob Portman has actively helped Romney.
Kasich did appear at a Ryan talk at his alma matre, Miami U of Ohio. Kasich literally twiddled his thumbs standing beside Ryan. It was embarrasing. The dude used to have a talk show on Fox news. He KNOWS how to act. What a doo-fuss
Conservatives did. What did Romney do? If Romney was conservative and tea party then Walker should help. Since he is not, Walker owes him nothing!
I speak out of complete ignorance, but what did Romney do to help Scott Walker when he was in serious trouble?
It’s not about owing anyone anything, it’s about getting your marxist, muslim, putrid, festering racist garbage barry out of our White House.
And what would you have Governor Walker do?
Nothing. Romney did nothing. He didn’t want to be seen with Walker and certainly didn’t support his reforms during the worst of the turmoil. Playing up to Walker after the fact is meaningless.
Walker has been helping him despite Romney’s actions but don’t expect him to warmly embrace Romney or pretend his own supporters will buy the idea Romney is a “Walker” Republican.
Excellent quesiton, thanks for posting this...everyone in WI and all the other close states need to reach out to their state and local elected officials. Now that there is momentum all those elected republicans who blow with the wind should be willing to stand up and give support, but they need encouragement. Walker is chief amongst them...
Exactly. There is no room for petty musings. barry and as many democrat trash as possible must be defeated by any and all means possible.
The best thing that Walker can do for Romney is to NOT be seen with him too much. Walker survived recall, but he is still radioactive to large segments. Their supporters do NOT overlap completely. Romney should thank Walker for his support during the primary, and leave it at that.
I think Kasich wants Romney to lose so he can make a run at the Presidency in 2016 - there is no other explanation for his behavior either now or his “Oh wonderful Me” speech at the Republican convention. He seems too involved in himself to get involved in helping Romney win a must-win election.

bttt
The best thing that these Republican Governors can do is
insure an honest election. They should have lots of oversight. ID should be checked, even if that means just signature ID. And make sure there is an honest vote count.
Ballots for soldiers absentee ballots should be counted even if received late. I am tired of the Dems disenfranchising our
men in uniform. Dems know Obama cannot win the GI vote.
Try and weed out the phony registration and purge the polls
of the deceased. Make sure the mentally ill and those with dementia are not used by the Dems to vote for Obama in senior homes, that is elder abuse.
Chime in, Wisconsin, on what Scott Walker is doing to help Romney...
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Walker has been a pretty regular guest at the rallies around here. He’s appeared with Ryan and with Tommy Thompson a lot, and he’s sent out a jillian fund raising letters for Romney.
Kasich has campaigned with Romney/Ryan in several venues throughout Ohio. As has Rob Portman and Condi Rice.
Not sure what he is doing elsewhere
Gov walker is coming to Missouri for fundraiser and rally in next day or so.
