The poll showing NASCAR fans favoring Obama jumped the shark; pollsters do anything they have to to be part of the pack.

Do you know where are the political ad money goes?
To the tossup states.
Gravis Marketing is a pioneer in political advertising ...
Wouldn't it be in the interest of such a company to find out that the race is too close to call?

Would it be too much for one of these hack polls to do even a D+3 sample? Cripes.
Romney is going to win in a landslide. Ohio will be D+2 and Romney will win by 5.

Moreover in the last election (2010) put a republican Kasic into the governor’s mansion. I think that folks are delusional if they think Ohio is going to be plus 9 for the dens

A +9 Democrat sample and Obama and Romney are still tied? Even Democrats will not be able to produce enough dead and multiple-time voters to overcome the REAL election day turnout.
To: LS
Dim +9 and tied, eh?
ROMNEY LANDSLIDE!
I’ll be watching MSNBC and CNN on election night. Can’t wait to witness the meltdown of the Left. Last time I tuned into these channels was on the night of the Wisconsin Recall. SWEET.

I smell a landslide.
They can't cheat if you win by a large enough margin.

I know nothing about this polling org, but the mega sample - “1943 likely voters” - adds some credibility.

why do these guys---even this R-leaning firm---assume a 2012 D turnout HIGHER than 08? Think about this. Since the pollsters and Media only get one shot every 4 years to make boatloads of cash off political ads and polling, if they show a blow out the revenue dries up. As long as it appears to be "close" the ad buys and poll requests keep coming in.

Holy crap. Tied with a D+9 sample?
That is amazing.

If mitt can lock down ohio or wisconsin, I don't see how he could lose. If he doesn't get either of these, he will need NV to win

A 'tie' is a win for the Republican.
They are oversampling Democrats.
