Iranian and U.S. negotiators have reached an agreement that calls for Iran to halt part of its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of many of the U.S. sanctions against the Islamic regime, according to a highly placed source.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, expects a letter from President Obama in a few days guaranteeing the details of the agreement, arrived at recently during secret negotiations in Doha, Qatar.
The source, who remains anonymous for security reasons and is highly placed in Iran’s regime, said that once Khamenei receives Obama’s guarantees, he will authorize an announcement by Iran on a solution to the nuclear crisis before the U.S. presidential elections.

This means Iran has already completed part of its nuclear program -- the part they're now "halting." In exchange, we lift sanctions on the materials they need to complete the rest of their nuclear program.

What really made me laugh out loud was when Carter proclaimed that it was a “peaceful” rescue. What a colossal jerk.
It may have been “peaceful” for him tucked away in the WH in his little blue sweater, but it sure wasn’t peaceful for the hostages or for the Canadian ambassador and his wife and their maid, all of whom had to flee through howling mobs and barely escaped with their lives. Carter and Obama both are smug, self-obsessed jerks.
The good thing about the movie, however, was that it was pretty honest about how crazy and vicious the “Islamic Revolution” really was in practice, although of course the shallow, stupid intro made it sound like it was justifiable and all our fault. An early version of the “Arab Spring,” I guess...

Iran wants Obama to win so it hopes “cutting a deal” with Obama helps. That way if Obama wins, it can forget about the stupid “deal” and develop it’s nukes unmolested.

And how will the so called “halt” be verified?
North Korea has been doing this same deal for the longest time and look where we’re still at today.
