I FOUND IT!!! I’ve been searching for my Dad’s lost left hearing aid...he has two, but just wearing the right one isn’t working. I crawled over every inch of his bedroom, checked all the drawers, checked the bathroom, and all the flat surfaces in the office. No dice! And now my knees are screaming. Then all the counters in the kitchen, and finally the side table by his chair in the living room. And THERE IT WAS!! It should have only been in his room....I’ve had to search for it every other day.

In the process of searching all flat surfaces, I have found 8 hearing aid batteries. I will check all for any good ones.
